Chapter Three: The Running

Rapunzel and Jack took off in the direction of the blast and I realized: it was coming from my house.
I nonchalantly stood up and walked down the bleacher steps, being careful not to disturb anyone as I left the football game.
As soon as I was out of sight of everyone else I started running. My house was only two blocks away from the school (and I was merely fourteen so I wasn't licensed to drive) and so I had walked to the game. But now I ran. As we ran Rapunzel explained what had happened: "I-I was coming to the game to hang out with you but-" breath "-I couldn't find Flynn and so I was looking for him and he was-" breath " -walking towards me but he didn't notice me and just-" breath" -walked right trough me and-" she stopped talking as jack put his hand out and I was stopped by him at the freshman building of the high school.
"Amelia you need to put up a shield around yourself."
"A-a what?!?!"
"That's your ability. You can create shields to keep out darkness."
"You're-you're kidding me right?"
"No."
All of a sudden someone I instantly recognized ran toward us.
"Elsa what are you doing here? You're supposed to be watching Amelia's house!" Jack yelled.
"Pitch figured out that she wasn't there. He's going to the football field." She responded.
"Hold on are all of you real? Is Anna here? Are there any-"
"How long until he gets here?" Jack asked Elsa.
Elsa looked up at the sky and said "He is."
