Chapter 7

"Amber! It's Holly! She snuck out earlier this morning and got taken, we found out just now where they took her and we have to go now both of you!" Mr. Crouch yelled at me and Lily, it was 3 am.

"Where is she?!" I yelled already slipping on my jacket and running towards the door towards the waiting van. Everyone else piled in after me and I put on all my equipment. My belt that held all my tools, my ear piece to communicate with the others, I slipped on my leather gloves and put on my boots.

"She's in an old abandoned school house about 10 miles away from here. We don't know who took her and we don't know where in the school she is. That's your job Lily you stay in this van and find as much about this school as you can." Mr. Crouch said handing Lily a specialized laptop.

"That I can do." She began typing.

"You boys will help Amber find Holly in the school. You will work as a team to find her and don't get caught guys. This is serious."

"What are you going to do Mr. Crouch?" Harry asked still putting on his gear.

"I'm going with you guys don't worry. There's 3 floors of the school, some of the floors are really old and can fall in. Don't turn your backs on open doorways and watch everyone's back. Teamwork is the top skill we need right now." We arrived at the school and it looked eerie all the windows were boarded up and the shingles on the roof were half off, there's vines growing up the side of the school and graffiti. "We don't have any lights, that would give us away. There are emergency lights on in there just enough light to see where your going. Here's some night vision goggles for each of you." I slipped mine on and pressed the power button. "Lets go." We opened the door and stepped outside and the cold morning air hit my face. I wanted to just go running in there and scream for my friend to come out, I wanted this to be a dream, my heart sped up and Niall came up beside me.

"You ready? Your the leader." I nodded and slowly walked up towards the school and stopped, if these guys were spies they would have traps all over this place.

"Liam hand me the spray can in your belt." I took the can and sprayed, several red lines showed up all around us.

"That's what I thought." I grabbed my grappling hook and flung it to the balcony on the first floor of the building. I swung myself over the lasers and reached the other side there was a box that needed a code to turn off the lasers. "Lily I need a code." I said into the ear piece.

"How many numbers?"

"4."

"No problem give me a second." The line went silent and a minute later. "4539" I pressed the numbers and the lasers went away.

"Good work." Mr. Crouch said reaching me. I sprayed the door and no traps on this side, Zayn grabbed a lock pick out of his belt and carefully unlocked the door. "Open it towards us incase of traps on the other side of the door." He opened the door and I sprayed again nothing. I took a step forward when Harry grabbed my waist and pulled my back.

"There's a giant hole there." He pointed down and there was a hole that went at least 15 feet deep and was 20 feet wide. "Use the hook." He threw the rope with skill and the hook caught a fan on the ceiling.

"Can this even hold us?" I asked looking towards the hole.

"Sure it can." He wrapped his arm around my waist pulling me towards him and he swung us over to the other side of the room. We swung the rope back over to everyone else and silently they swung over.
