Chapter 4

Skylar's P.O.V

"Sk-Skylar, who's this?" My mom stuttered.

"I'm pretty sure you know mom. Mind telling me how Zayn and I are related?" I raise my eyebrows, as she sits down on the couch.

"I knew this day would come." She mumbles.

"13 years ago before you were born, I met Yasir, Zayn's dad. We didn't actually date, but we were really close for the month he was here. One night, I don't really remember what happened, but we had sex. Later on, I found out that I was pregnant. when I told Yasir he agreed to keep it a secret, but he wanted to watch you grow up. Every year, I sent him photos of you so he could see you growing up. Nick (A/N her mom's husband) and I raised you like our own, so you wouldn't suspect anything. Yasir and I stayed in contact though. It was a mistake Sky, we didn't mean for it to happen. We weren't thinking, and if I could take it back, I would." I couldn't believe what I just heard. First she cheats on dad, well Nick. Then she keeps it from me, and then she regrets having me, and says I'm a mistake?! I can't believe this!

"HOW COULD YOU DO THAT?! YOU KNEW HE WAS MARRIED AND SO WERE YOU YET YOU STILL DID THAT?" I yell.

"SKY IT WAS A MISTAKE!" She yells back. Wow, I guess I'm a mistake.

"WHAT SO NOW I'M A MISTAKE?! I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS! HOW COULD YOU EVEN KEEP THIS FROM ME? I DESERVED TO KNOW!" By know, I had tears streaming down my face. How could she do this?

"I DIDN'T SAY YOU WERE A MISTAKE!"

"YES YOU DID MOM! DON'T DENY IT!"

"YOU KNOW WHAT?! YOU ARE A MISTAKE, I WISH I NEVER HAD YOU! YOU'RE JUST A NO GOOD, GOOD FOR NOTHING BITCH!" That's when everything went silent. I had tears down my face, so did Zayn. As for my mom? She was just staring at me. Suddenly, realization hit her face.

"Sky......I......I'm so sorry I didn't mean it!" Didn't mean it, my ass.

"No mom, just forget it. I'm out of here" As said that I grabbed my skateboard, and headed out the front door. I start riding my skateboard to the one place I go to whenever I'm upset.

The skate park.

Zayn's P.O.V

Wow. I didn't expect that. I look over at see Sky's mom crying. I don't understand why she said that. Sky's amazing, and she's just a kid!

"I'm going to go look for her." I tell her. She nods as I leave the house. I start walking around trying to look for Sky. It doesn't make it any easier that it's dark out. After I few minutes, I see a skate park up ahead. Sky has a skateboard, so she would be there, right?

I get closer, and I see a girl going up and down the ramps.

Skylar.

"Sky?" I say. She stops and turns around. Her eyes are red and puff and she has tears streaming down her face. Even though its dark you can see it clearly.

"What do you want?" She rudely asked. I shrug it off knowing she's upset.

"You my little sister Sky, do you really think I'm not going to come look for you? I may have just met you but I care about you." Just as I said that she runs into my arms sobbing. I rub her back, trying to get her to calm down. A few minutes later Sky stops crying, and we're sitting on the bench.

"You feeling better?" I ask. She sniffs, and nods. I can tell that she's still upset about what happened. Especially that her mom said she was a mistake.

"Sky, she didn't mean it." I say.

"Whatever." She replied.

Sarah's P.O.V (Sky's Mom)

After Zayn Left

I grab the phone and dial Yasir's number. After a few rings he answers.

"Hello?"

"Yasir? They know." I reply. He sighs over the phone.

"I know. Zayn saw a picture of Skylar, so I ended up telling him." I sighed.

"Could you please catch the next flight out here?"

"Actually....." He trailed off. Just then the doorbell rang. I get up to answer to door, and I see Yasir standing there. I hang up the phone and invite him in.

"So, what happened?" I asked.

"Well, like I said Zayn saw some pictures on Sky so I ended up telling him. Trisha and the girls know as well." He says.

"We're they mad?" I wonder.

"Zayn was kind of upset but happy that he had another sister so he flew out here to find her. The girls we're really happy as well. Trisha was upset that I cheated but we worked it out and we're both happy. What about you?"

"Skylar was really upset, in fact she fled the house a while ago, and Zayn went and looked for her. Nick, Tyler and Jacob knew from the start, so I didn't have to explain anything to them" I said.

"I guess we just have to wait for them to come back." Yasir states.

Skylar's P.O.V

Zayn and I are about to walk inside, and I'm not looking forward to it. He opens the door, and I see Zayn's dad and my mom sitting on the couch.

"Sky, where were you?" My mom asks. I stay silent.

"Hey dad." Zayn says. His dad smiles and waves.

"Dad? I was wondering if Sky could come back to Bradford?" He asked hastily. I look up at Zayn surprised, I mouth 'Really'? He nods.

"I think that's a great idea. As long as Sarah agrees to it." He said. My mom nods and says,

"I think that would be great." Zayn envelops me into a hug.

"Go pack you bags Sky, Your going to Bradford." He whispered.
