Chapter 14

Skylar's P.O.V

6 months. Jake and I have been dating for 6 months. I even tweeted that today was our 6 month anniversary and 'Jaylar4Life' started trending. It's been 3 weeks since Zayn and the lads left for the tour and Zayn has called everyday, even a few times at school but that doesn't bother me at all. I'm about to get ready for my date with Jake. He says he has something amazing planned and I can't wait to find out.

"Here wear this." Waliyha says. She hands me a simple red dress, with a black belt. Simple just the way I like it. After I've put on my dress Doniya does my hair and makeup. Thankfully she didn't go over board with the hair and makeup. She applied some Mascara, eye liner and blush. For my hair she just did a fishtail braid.

"Thanks guys, I owe you one." I tell them both. I hear the doorbell ring, so I went downstairs and answered it. I look and see Jake all dressed up. He looks amazing.

"Shall we?" He says. I slip on my converse and leave the house.

"We shall." I reply. As we get in the car I ask him where we're going.

"You'll see." He replies.

"You want me to kill your face?"

"I thought I had a sexy face."

"I never said that!"

"You talk in your sleep Sky." I look down, trying to hide my crimson red cheeks.

"I do not." I mumble.

"You are too adorable." About a half hour later we're still in the car, my legs are asleep and this dress is driving me crazy.

"Jake, how much longer?" I ask.

"Almost there babe." A few minutes later we pull up to a big field.

"Where are we?" I wonder.

"Just follow me." I do as I'm told and follow him. As we walk up the big hill, I notice a beautiful waterfall. As we walk even closer I see a blanket set out with a picnic basket.

"What do you think?" Jake asks me.

"It's amazing Jake. I can't believe you did this. Did anyone help you?"

"Nope, all me." I smile and run into his arms.

"This is beautiful." I tell him. We share a slow passionate kiss.

"C'mon, let's eat." He tells me. We walk over and sit down on the blanket. Jake opens the basket and takes out several things. There are peanut butter and jam sandwiches, Kood-aid jammers juice, and chocolate covered strawberries.

"Simple, but amazing." I tell him. He smiles and passes me a sandwich and juice pouch. I take a bite out of the sandwich and it feels like a rainbow busted in my mouth.

"You did not make this." I tell him.

"Oh, but I did"

"How did you manage to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to taste so good?" He just laughs. I smile and continue eating. As soon as I finish my sandwich I start eating the chocolate covered strawberries.

"Have you ever tried them before?" Jake asked me.

"Never. Are they good?"

"Good? They're amazing!" He exclaims. I take a bite out of the strawberry and feel like I'm in Heaven.

"Whoa." I say.

"Told you."

"Shut up and give me another one." Jake laughs and passes me another strawberry. Soon after we're don't eating Jake and I decide to go to his house and watch a movie. I asked mum and dad and they said it was okay for me to stay over.
