After almost two hours at the store, the two girls finally drove home. They had gotten many sets of clothes, including shoes, pants, shirts, skirts, dresses, shoes, socks, and a little jewlery. Lyssa had mainly picked out greens, blacks, and golds, but also some blues and reds and whites and purples. When they got back to Jane's house, they climbed out of the car and began to gather the bags of clothes.

"Hey, mom!" a voice said.

Jane and Lyssa turned around and saw a young man walking towards them. Jane gave him a hug.

"Hello, Ty," Jane said. "How was school?"

"Not bad," the boy said. "I'm just glad it's summer break."

Jane smiled. She introduced him to Lyssa.

"Ty, this is Lyssa," she said. "Lyssa, this is my son, Tyson."

Ty shocked Lyssa's hand and offered to help carry in the bags. The three hulled in the bags and set them in the guest room where Lyssa had slept in earlier. Once the two left the room, Lysa changed into one of her new outfits. It was a pair of jeans, black boots, a green top that hung off her shoulders, and a dark green camisole. She rebraided her hair so it fell over her right shoulder. She slid on a couple of bracelets and put on a necklace and some earrings.

"Looking good!" commented Darcy when Lyssa emerged from her room. "The green goes great with your eyes."

"Thank you," Lyssa replied.

"So, Aunt Darcy tells me that you're visiting from another realm," Ty said.

Jane looked at Darcy with annoyance and shock.

"Yes, I am."

"Aunt Darcy and Uncle Ian teach me about the Nine Realms when they have the chance."

Lyssa nodded. Her father never had time to explain anything to her besides his evil plots from 'back in the day,' as humans call it.

"What's it like?"

Lyssa glanced at Jane, who looked somewhat defeated. She nodded to tell her it was okay to answer the question.

"Well..." Lyssa said. "Everything's made of gold. The palace is huge with too many room that still need exploring." She didn't notice Jane sit down in a chair with her cup of hot chocolate and a smile. "Leading into the city is a giant rainbow bridge which connects all nine realms."
