There is this guy. His name is Tyler Wake. We are in the same grade, but he is a little bit older than me. He has dark brown hair with hazel eyes. BEAUTIFUL! We have the same teachers, but I don't think he has ever noticed me. I mean, how hard is it not to notice me? I'm short with dark hair, dark brown eyes, and a big booty. That's how everyone knows DE'laine Williams. Yes, that's my name.

Hundreds of guys try to talk to me only seeking one thing. (Girls, if you feel me say "hallelujah.") I have only been in 3 real relationships my whole life. This last one messed up my emotions pretty bad. There is something about Tyler, though. I haven't quite put my finger on it. My friend/sister, Marie, also falls victim to Tyler's charm. She also stays posted on SnapChat, Instagram, and Twitter to see what's going on in his life, but social media really isn't my thing.

I'm more of a writer than anything. I write about things I hear, see, touch, and smell almost everyday. I just so happen to be a very good writer according to friends and family. As I sit at the lunch table, pen in hand, I see Tyler walking towards my table. Marie notices this before me though , and she takes off running. She pretends to throw away her tray, but instead, she just sits at the farthest table to watch from a distance.

I am looking down at my notebook until I hear the piercing sound of a plastic tray sliding across the table. "Do you mind?" I hear a familiar voice say. "Where have you heard this sweet, deep, voice from?" I ask myself. I slowly look up from my notebook only to be amazed my what I saw. It was Tyler standing over me. "No, I don't mind" I say quickly. Before he sat down I admired his physique. "Damn..." I say to myself.

I would have expected him to be eating, but he was staring at me while I was writing in my notebook. "What you writing?" he asked me. I blushed by his question. I closed my notebook saying, " Nothing important." If this boy wasn't gorgeous,I don't know what he is. " I'm Tyler." he says with his hand extended. I hesitate, but I grab his hand and say, "DE'laine." The way his eyes lit up after I introduced myself gave me chills.

"I've seen you around here, and I've heard some things about you, too." he says with a sexy grin on his face. My ears grew hotter by the way Tyler was staring at me. "You're so beautiful, DE'laine." Tyler said. I looked up into his eyes. His beautiful eyes. "Really?" I said pushing my hair behind my ear. "Yes, and I want to get to know you better." he says sliding closer to me. My heart begins to race. I say "Okay." The bell for 4th period rings, and he say," I'll catch you around DE'laine." He walks away with his friends.

Marie runs towards me. "What the hell happened over there?!" She squealed. "Nothing. I just made a new friend that's all."  I say gathering my stuff. Apparently, word travels pretty fast. As Marie and I walk down the hallway, whispers between boys and girls are being passed. "That's her! That's the one that was talking to Tyler at lunch." I hear as I walk down the hallway. " I guess I'm known for more than just my booty now." I say jokingly

The rest of the day was okay. When I got home, I busted out my notebook and started writing. The only thing that was on my mind was Tyler, and his beautiful eyes, his sexy smile, and his sweet , deep voice. Everyone in my house know that when I'm in my room and the door is closed that I'm writing something serious. I am in the "zone" writing as fast as I can before I lose my thoughts and suddenly my phone rings. I stopped to see who it was. It was Tyler wake.

"How did he get my number?" I say out loud. The text read, " Hey beautiful."  I drop my pen and I jump on my bed. "Hey." I text back. "Can you FaceTime?" he asked me. I look in the mirror at how I looked at the moment. I reply," Yea, hold on a sec." I leave my phone on the bed and I had just flat and I run straight to the bathroom. I had just flat ironed my hair, and it was in a bun , so I let my beautiful hair fall down my back. I put my pretty light purple shirt and take off my glasses and I run to my phone.

I text back, " Okay, you can call me now." As I picked up my pen to continue writing, he called. The sudden ringing did scare me ,but I was more nervous than anything.  I calm myself down and I hit the video button. "Hey there, beautiful." Tyler says with his sexy voice. I am instantly shocked by what I saw. He had no shirt on. My eyes widened in disbelief. "Oh my god. Oh my god. Okay, calm down before you say something stupid." I say to myself. "Hi" I say still with my cheeks redder than cherries.

We talked on the phone for hours. I had a great time. I never felt this way about anybody before. Then, he asked the million dollar question, "Do you want to come over sometime?" I stopped laughing, and I said, " I don't know, Tyler. We just started talking..." He smiles and says, "This is a chance to get to know you better." That smile, those eyes, that voice. It's like some kind of spell that works on girls. "How about this weekend?" I ask. "Sounds perfect." He says grinning at me. I look at the clock. It's 11:43. I fake a yawn and say, "It's getting pretty late. Maybe I should go." "Okay, beautiful, I'll see you at school." Tyler says hanging up the phone.

I fall back on my bed and all I could say was, "Damn." Recently, that's becoming the adjective for everything in my life. "Should I text Marie?" I ask myself. "Nah... She'll find out tomorrow." I say with a smirk on my face. I already know what I was going to dream about tonight. "Goodnight." I hear in my head. "Goodnight, Tyler." I say out loud. I continue to look at the roof until if drift off into my deep, deep slumber.
