chapter 3

My phone has ringed aleast10 times since I got home. I feel really bad that I ditched lily but I just don’t feel like talking to anyone. That Nathan can kiss my fat butt for all I care because his not the only man out there in the world.

My phone rings again and I finally decide to pick up.

“Hello?”

“Oh my god where are you I’ve been looking all over for you.” Lily yelled in the phone.

“Look, lily” I said a little snappier then I attended to be. “I just didn’t like Nathan so I ditched you guys, is that a good enough explanation of where I went.”

“Well, look who grew some balls and decided to become a total bi….”

“Don’t even try to say it” I cut in. I hear lily snap her mouth close as fast as she opened it.

“Look lily we will talk tomorrow, I just want to go to bed” I sighed.

“Fine” she said a little more calm. “We will talk and don’t try to maneuver around it either”.

I smile “bye” I whispered before hanging the phone up.

It’s time to lose weight.

I walk into the shop feeling kind of awkward I mean I did ditch my best friend last night without anything as much as hint.

Lily’s already at the desk taking some customers with her hair in a pony tail, and if anyone knows lily like I do they would know that the only time she puts her hair in a pony tail is when she is upset.

I walk to the back of the store to grab my apron just as she’s finishing up with the two ladies.

I put on my apron and tie my hair in a pony tail. So I can be papered for lily’s raft.

‘Excuse me’ I hear from behind me. Well here goes nothing I slowly turn around.

 I open my mouth to explain but she cuts me off.

“You have a customer waiting for you” I quickly close my mouth and walk past lily to the front.

It’s Mr. Acuzio I take a deep breath before addressing him.

“Mr. Acuzio welcome back my schedule is free would you like to start today.” God that sounded so desperate.

“Yes actually” he answers in a mellow tone. “I’m going out of town this weekend and would like to have my house measured before I leave”.

“Of course” I say smiling. “Let me just go get my supplies” I turn around towards the back.

“Wait!” he yells this time in very manly voice. “Do you need help?”

I smile before turning around. “No sir I’m just grabbing my tape measure and pen”

“Okay” he says back “well I’ll just be waiting in my car so that you can follow me to my place”.

I nod my head and once again I turn towards the back. I grad my supplies and look at lily. She’s on the phone, probably with her boyfriend. I scoff at the thought of that. I grab my car keys and head towards my car.
