The gig for the night is almost over, the boys are playing Saturday as their final song. The crowd is cheering as this is the encore, so everyone's pumped up. Pete is in a very good mood tonight, feeling so giddy and light, but for what for what reason? Just performing making him happy in general? Or... Patrick. God damn that smol fedora man. Pete laughs to himself while banging out the bass, watching the lights of people's phones sway in the crowd to the music he loves making. He remembers recording the song in the studio and belting out throaty screams, so he figures why not do the same tonight. While continuing to pound the notes, he goes up to his microphone and does what he does best. His emotions are very overwhelming. So much thought and heart and soul as he screeches into the night. And this is the last show for the summer, so that also plays a dramatic role in the scene. In the near distance, he hears Patrick sing Pete's favorite line in the song.

"Me and Pete, in the wake of Saturday." Pete can't help but to let off a smile. He hears a few crowd members scream his name, his smile growing bigger. He looks over at Patrick, rocking out so happily as well. Patrick looks over at Pete in the same moment, smiling at his band mate, blushing a little. Pete smiles in return, then darts back to eyeing the crowd.

It's truly a great night and great ending to a great tour. Patrick starts getting into the higher note range which always drives Pete insane. "Saturday." Patrick belts out on high, sending warm chills down Pete's spine. Who would've thought you could be so attracted to a VOICE. The song comes to a close, meaning the closing of the final concert. Pete shouts into the crowd, looking at all the smiling faces. "Thank you Los Angeles! Have a great night everyone!" The crowd cheers, the instruments die and the lights fade out, and Pete is filled with overwhelming joy. The guys leave the stage and form a hearty group hug off stage. Pete casually wraps his arm around Patrick's shoulder, giving him a hard pat on the back.

"Nice job Pat." He says to the vocalist.

"Thanks Pete." Patrick says, realizing only seconds after what a mistake that was. He choked on his spit and chuckled at his words. Pete beamed, his cheeks growing warm. He rubbed his mouth to try and tear off the goofy grin that has now formed upon his face. He steps away from Patrick for a minute to hug Andy and Joe, congratulating them both as well on a great tour and great last performance.

"You guys all killed it up, that was so fucking rad." Pete speaks out with enthusiasm. "And the whole milkshake and cherry thing was pretty witty, am I right?" Pete says, chuckling at his own joke.

"Yep, pretty witty, Pete." Patrick says with a sarcastic laugh. Patrick watches Pete carefully, eyeing him a little longer than usual. Pete stares back in return, both of their eyes meeting as they break out in awkward, goofy smiles. Pete laughs it off and looks back to Andy and Joe. "Hey guys, I think I'm gonna go change up and head out for a little food. I'll meet you back up at the hotel. Again, great show you guys. Thanks for the memories!" Pete announces, laughing at his joke again.

"Yeah tonight's show killed it! Best one I'd say." Andy chimes in.

"Yep, pretty dope. Bring me something back, why don't you. Thanks bud!" Joe replies. The two depart and Pete is about to head to a rental car when a familiar laugh rings behind him.

"Jesus Christ Pete, you're such a meme. "Thanks for the memories." You referencing our songs again...this isn't What a Catch, Donnie." Patrick laughs.

"I know, I just felt it fit the moment, you know." Pete replies, also laughing. The two stand in silence for a moment, a little more awkward than normal.

Something's in the air, it could just be the leftover smell after Wiz's performance, but it feels more then that. It makes Pete's insides buzz.

"So, uh, would you mind if I joined you for that snack of yours?" Patrick asks Pete bluntly. Pete, taken aback slightly, replies.

"Oh uh yeah of course, I got room in my bus, uh I mean car. Yeah come with me, uh to get the snack. Where do you... Is Taco Bell okay?" Pete stutters in an effort to say the right words. Taco Bell is such a stupid place for an undercover date after a concert but it's the first thing that came to Pete's mind.

"Yep, Taco Bell sounds great." Patrick replies with a blushing smile. He shakes his head a bit as if trying to fix his hair. Pete blushes at the cuteness of Patrick and looks away as to not break out into another goofy smile.
