It had been two weeks since we had arrived at my parents house. We had settled in well with them. Ariel was infatuated with helping Ryder regain his memories, they worked many, many hours try to remove the block in his brain. It was working very well he remembered were he was from and his family. Also, he remembered he has a pack, like an actual pack with an alpha and a beta and everything. We decided to find them so Ryder can let them know he's okay. Apparently there is also a block between him and his wolf, like they are two different beings, its amazing. I have been working with my dad to get back in to shape. I was defiantly out of shape when I got here but after a week of intense training I am now able beat my dads ass, which is awesome considering I was getting mine handed to me everyday for a week.

"Keep it up, baby girl." My dad hollered at me when I landed another jab to his kidney. "That's it, make that elbow tighter, it's your defense." BAM, BAM, BAM, dodge, dodge, BAM, BAM, then one swift upper cut to his chin and he was down.

"Daddy, JEZZZ Ara. Why you gotta hurt him?!" Ariel said crouching next to our dad.

"This is us training, Ariel." I said getting the water bucket to wake dad up, I crouched next to him, opposite Ariel, and used my fingers to flick water on to dads face.

"Why do have to train violently?" She looked so sad.

"To protect you, sweetie." It was my dad who spoke coming to. Ariel helped him up and up the stairs.

"I know, daddy, but you don't have to hurt in the process." I heard her grumble while moving up the stairs.

"She has a point you know," Ryder had came in the back door from his run. "I could probably be a real challenge for you. You and your dad have the same fighting styles, let me offer you a different challenge." He said with that lopsided grin that I absolutely love.

"Hmm," I said as I wrapped my arms around his waist. "It could be fun."

"Or a learning experience." He said leaning down just enough to place a small but intimate kiss on my lips. It felt like I was on fire but in a good way, like sparks were coming to life within me from that kiss. I feel it every time he touches me, I think he feels it too. "Can you feel it too?"

"Yes, it's wonderful." I said with a smile. "I'm going to go take a bath." I said sliding a way from him and heading towards the stairs.

"Uh huh," He was watching me make my way up the stairs.

"Are you coming or are you just going to stand there?" I said peeking over my shoulder.

"Really?" he had a wonderful smile across his face.

"Come on." I told him and he sprinted across the room and up the stairs.

"So, Ariel helped me regain more of my memories this morning." Ryder said while pulling me backwards against his chest, I fit perfectly in between his arms, like a puzzle piece.

"Really what do you remember?" I asked, while trailing my fingers along his arm.

"I remember my parents, and that I have 3 sisters and a brother. I remember my house and the address. I remember my graduation from high school and from boot camp. And I remember the talk that my dad had with me about mates." He was staring at the spot where my shoulder met my neck, he slowly leaned down and lightly kissed me, the feeling that rushed thru me was so intense that it actually made me gasp.

"A-and w-what di-did he say?" my question came out in a barley audible whisper.

"That this," he whispered "is were I'm supposed to mark you."
