When Harry gets to Louis' house he is disappointed to find that he's not there.

"Ms. Tomlinson where is Louis? I really need to talk to him." Harry says as he follows Louis' mum into the kitchen.

"Well...yesterday...I don't really know what happened, but he went over to Niall's house and spent the night. Usually the boys come over here so...I can only assume that Louis is upset."

"So, Lou is at Niall's house? Where's that?" Harry asks and Jay looks hesitant to answer.

"Harry...you seem like a nice boy, but I don't think it's right to give you Niall's address." Jay says, completely smashing Harry's hope of finding Louis.

"Oh...uh...okay. When he gets home can you tell him Harry stopped by? And tell him to call me?" Harry asks and Jay nods.

"Sorry I couldn't be more helpful Harry." Jay says.

"That's okay...I'll just be on my way then." Harry says as he leaves the house in utter defeat. He'll just have to wait until Louis gets back to school.

The next day, Louis is in his own house. He's dressed and waiting patiently in the living room for Niall and Liam.

He's nervous. Like, really nervous. He doesn't want to see Harry, just thinking his name brings on waves of hurt. Louis knows seeing him will be hard.

Louis doesn't know what will happen. He doesn't even know if Harry will care.

A part of him wants Harry to not care, to leave him alone so he can try to mend his broken heart.

But, a slightly smaller part of Louis wants Harry to care.

He wants everything they did together, every kiss, date, intimate moment, joke, laugh, touch to have been real and meant something to Harry as much as it meant something to Louis.

The tiny part of Louis that hopes this is why he continues to hurt.

He wants Harry in more than a physical way. He wants to be able to call him his and be able to wake up, knowing that he has someone to love.

He wants to be able to touch Harry wherever and whenever and not even in a sexual way.

He wants to poke his dimples, run his fingers along his jawline, hold his hand, fiddle with his fingers when he's bored, tangle his hands in Harry's hair, and braid it for fun. He wants them to share whispered 'I love you's' and sweet kisses.

The small part of Louis continues to nag at his mind, it continues to make his heart hurt and his eyes fill with tears.

Louis' eyes are filled with tears as Niall honks his car horn and Louis exits his house.

Louis forces his feelings away, shutting out the small part of him that wants all of those things from Harry because he knows Harry doesn't want the same.

Except Harry does.

He's wanted it for a long time and he can't believe how many times he's screwed up.

Harry waits at the front of the school. He's decided to wait for Louis. Louis had not called Harry that night so Harry continuously called the house until Jay answered.

They had a short conversation, Jay had informed him that Louis would be going to school the next day.

So, here Harry was, waiting for the boy he fancied so much it hurt.

Harry runs his hand through his hair and he touches his cheek softly, flinching slightly as his fingers graze the purple bruise.

When Harry sees Niall pull up to the school Harry fights the urge to run to the car. Harry fidgets as he watches Niall and Liam climb out of the car.
