TWILIGHT SAGA HEMMINGS? - (Luke)

(A/N) So this is an idea that I have to take a shot at. So - to clear things up, Luke is Edward and Kay is Bella. Yeah - also I didn't feel like doing a second person, so Imma take my chances with third person, man.
Maybe I'll have gangsta swag too...
If only...
So I've read all of the Twilight Saga except for Breaking Dawn. I only read part of it. But anyway, this probably won't be as good as a Twilight novel, but it'll be close. Okay - maybe it won't. But I have to try, don't I?
So, this is just like an unwritten chapter of... let's say the first Twilight book but with my own spin on it. It will only have Luke and Kay in it, the rest of the names will be from the book.

"Hey Jessica," Kay hates interrupting her friend. Though, with Luke just getting to her room - she'd much rather speak with him than Jessica. Hell, she'd rather speak with Luke than she would anyone. He means the world to her, no - that doesn't even begin to grasp his meaning to her. He means more than the universe itself to her.
Though, one thing that she doesn't know - is that he feels the same way for her.

She is the light of his immortal life. Throughout all of the pain and gore he has faced in his life, she is the one thing that makes him want to keep going. She is the one thing that makes him want to stay vegetarian. But, oh my, her blood is just like his drug. Without even getting any of it, the smell can just send him into a frenzy. That's why he's never let himself be too close to her. But he's starting to realize that his lack of communication toward her is really starting to push her away. And he can't stand even the thought of seeing her upset over a hellish beast like him. That's why he came to break up with her tonight. Yeah, it will be awkward - considering that he is inside of her house, but he's just got to do it. He hates seeing her this broken. But what he doesn't realize is that she hates seeing him this broken as well.

They're both broken, deep down.

Jessica stops in mid sentence, which is rare, humming in response to Kay.

"I have to go. I'll see you tomorrow?"

Click, Jessica just hangs up without word.
Kay just shrugs, dropping her now closed flip phone down onto the stand beside of her bed, which is rather tidy.

"Luke?" Kay asks with a slight grin appearing on her face.

"Hello, beautiful," Luke says deeply - with that mysterious voice of his that just makes Kay's heat melt to pieces.
He walks over to her bed, sitting on it in front of where she sits cross legged just in ahead of her multiple pillows.

The fact that he is even sitting this close to Kay is a miracle to her. He tends to keep his distance, which she completely understands. Though, with him actually coming this close to her without reason just sends the butterflies straight to her stomache. She really does like him.
