Chapter 5:Viper Goes after Dreamstrike

-Viper's P.O.V-
This is not who I thought I would be but now this is who I am.
~5 Years Earlier~
I was in the hallway talking with my friends. We were a group of twelve. People thought of us as a gang but we weren't really a gang. "Hey," I said to my group. "I better get down to my classe now. We'll meet up later." They all nodded in response and I left them there to talk. As I was walking down, I saw my girlfriend, Sharice, with someother girl. Sharice began crying and I ran up to her. I began to comfort her and ask if she was ok. She whispered into my ear,"She's mean. She pushed me down and it really hurt me." I turned to face the girl that hurt Sharice. "Who the fuck do you think you are to just push my girlfriend down!?"I yelled at her. I honestly didn't think that she would just push someone down but I had to defend Sharice. The girl yelled back at me,"I didn't even push that bitch down! You can't just blame someone for something and you didn't even see what happened yourself!" She was actually right. You can't blame someone for something wrong if you didn't see it yourself. I felt bad but I had to defend Sharice. I just had to. I couldn't think if anything else so I suddenly yelled out,"Who said you could talk back to me!?" I saw the girl get really pissed of but something strange happened. Something I've never seen before. The girl grew fur all over her body. She was on four legs and grew a snout. She turned into a wolf...she stsrted growling and then barking. The students backed away in terror. The creature charged through the students crowding the hallway and ran out the exit. She ran for the forest behind the gate and jumped over it. I turned to face Sharice. "I have to go after her..." I said. I need to say sorry. "What!? Why!? Are you crazy!? Did you not see what that thing just did!?" She began to cry. I gave her a hug and she hugged me tightly. I released her and ran towards the exit. Sharice started sobbing. "James! Don't do it! She'll kill you!" But I didn't listen. I ran out the exit and headed for the gate. I climbed over it and headed through the forest...
