Because I felt like it

Hi!

The eleventh Doctor swaggered out of his TARDIS and noticed that he was finally off Earth. He had arrived in Asgard! Oh, he remembered learning about as a little Time Lady on Gallifrey with the Master. Huge cities, super powered people, streets made of gold and what was that other thing.... The Doctor didn't have to wonder long as he was soon knocked out by a flying hammer.

When he awoke slowly he saw he was in a forest and his TARDIS WASN'T THERE!!! he quickly sat up intent on giving those people a great big impressive speech on WHO DID THEY THINK THEY WERE?! When he remembered that the throbbing in his head was probably the start of a rather nasty concussion. He groaned and held his forehead gingerly when he was pulled up rudely by a strong, armor clad arm.

"Brother! The strange man is awake! What shall we do with him?"

The Doctor winced at the booming voice and slowly turned his head to look at him. He groaned again when he saw it was Thor the crown prince of Asgard who pulled him at least three feet off the ground and there was another one standing behind Thor who the Doctor couldn't see from this angle, and he just remembered why he didn't like coming here! They were all idiotic brutes who trade their brains for muscle mass!

"You idiot Thor, first you knock the man out now you treat him so roughly when he is awake and can feel that massive bruise on his face. "

The Doctor gasped. Was his face bruised?! How could that happen?! Why would any one want to damage his perfect face and no he didn't have a huge chin and ears! They were no worse than nine's anyways!

"Oh, I am sorry sir! I lost my hammer calledMjolnir and it must have hit you!"

The Doctor tried to clear his vision because he was pretty sure they weren't underwater and replied. " No really?! How many other hammers do you have flying around here?! And what do they have against Time Lords by the way?!"

Thor's brother, who the Doctor assumed must be Loki, one of the only Asgardians he wasn't annoyed with right now walked up to where Thor was still dangling the Doctor three feet above the ground.

"Are you really a Time Lord? I thought they were extinct."

The Doctor grinned. "Yes I am, and please put me down, I can't feel my arms! I'm the Doctor by the way, and I know who you two are so no need to explain. As for extinct it's a wibbly wobbly timey wimey thing that no one else probably understands!"

Loki looked at him confused but the Doctor gave no further explanation and kept grinning like the madman he was. "So, anyone up for a baseball game in 1960's New York?" The Doctor asked cheerfully.

"Baseball? New Yawk? What are these strange things?!" Thor asked.

The Doctor sighed. He'd been hoping they were interested so they would bring him to his TARDIS, but apparently they didn't keep up with "Midguardian customs" , or was it just the wrong year, what year was it actually, he forgot to check.

Loki thankfully understood what the Doctor was really asking and said "your machine is back where you left, only a few feet away. We can take you to it."

The Doctor nodded enthusiastically, making his wild hair flop around crazily. "Ah, yes the TARDIS, thank you! Right, straight to it now, if you could move quickly it'd be appreciated!"

Loki turned and started walking before stopping suddenly to say "Thor you big oaf let him down already." With that the Doctor was dropped ungracefully to the ground and he scrambled up after the two Asgardians.
