Doctor?

She carefully weighed her options, she was definitely not this 'Doctor' they spoke of. However if she didn't act this companion would be killed, and she honestly didn't want any innocent blood on her hands. Her TARDIS was also stuck and she honestly was a bit curious to find out exactly how they knew how to trap her and her unique ship, or even what her ship was in the first place. She sighed resigned to help this person who was companion for whomever this doctor was. She stuffed her sonic screwdriver in her inner jacket pocket along side her sonic pen, because well, you never knew when these things would come in handy. Taking a deep breath she opened the door and found herself face to face, or rather face to eyestock, with three of the monstrous killers. Between two of them stood a blonde human woman.

"Error! Error! This is not The Doctor! Where is he? Where is the Doctor?" The Dalek closest to her shuffeled back and fourth in aggrivation.

The red head spoke up "I told you lot that's not the TARDIS! That thing is all silver and cylindrical! The TARDIS is a big blue box! The Doctor couldn't be inside what ever that thing is now could he?" her accent was British. Probably somewhere around the two or three thousands.

"Scan showed exact internal specificatins as the TARDIS, including one lifeform aboard!"

Muse was suddenly frustrated. "Excuse me, but this is in fact a TARDIS unit. Apparently the one you are looking for usually looks different. I'm deffinately not a Doctor and not the person you seem to be looking for..." She paused looking over at the girl. "However, I will take the human girl with me and take her home. You disgusting lot can go back to whatever it is you were doing and we will all just have a great day." She smiled and waited.

"Who exactly are you anyway? Why should I go with you?"

"Well, if you'd rather stay here with them, I can leave you. I'd assume you'd like to get back to Earth, and your own time. But I can't..."

as Muse spoke a wooshing noise became evident. She knew that sound, but it couldn't be. Another TARDIS? Whoever was flying this one had to be a novice with all that racket, leaving the parking break on. A blue box landed directly beside her silver cylinder. The door flung open revealing a man. He had brown hair that was disheveled and he quickly took in the room, his eyes setteling on the human girl. "Ah Amy! There you are!" He smiled broadly with confidence. "Now listen here, you are going to give me back my friend, let this other girl go." he gestured at Muse. "And get out of this galaxy, before I blow this ship and the rest of your fleet!"

"Doctor! Daleks do not take orders for you! EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!"

He pulled out a sonic screwdriver and smiled "I have the signal ready to go. So, once more. Give me Amy, let this other girl go, and run."

A shot rang out and the screwdriver was knocked from his hand. "Or... or... we can talk about this!"

He was backpeddling, bad, now that his weapon was out of reach.

"Excuse me. Doctor was is? Do you remember the signal input?" Muse looked at the strange man.

"Of course I do but I can't very well put it in if I don't have my sonic screwdriver now can I?" He looked back at her.

"But if you had another one?" she smiled reaching for her own screwdriver and showing it to him, smirking.

"Now where did you get that?"

"Does it matter right now?" She tossed it to him.

He quickly input the proper signal codes and smiled. The Daleks released their captive and she ran straight into the blue box. Muse lunged and grabbed at the strange man's screwdriver and they both got into their respective ships, taking off almost simultaneously.

Muse landed on a planet not far away and waited, knowing the man would seek out his screwdriver, espically since she was broadcasting her location with it. It was a short wait before she heard the telltale sign that the vessel was landing. She stood just outside the door of her TARDIS as the man walked out of his.

"Who are you?" he was finally taking the time to look at her, to see her for who she was.

She smiled. "I am Muse. I am a Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey, and this is my TARDIS." She motioned behind her.

He stared for a moment. "That's impossible. The Time War. I'm the only one left. You can't be here."

"My parents put my into this TARDIS when I was twelve years old. They sent me away to protect me. I've been wandering ever since. I've never found another of us. I've never seen even a sign." She took a few steps closer to him, his screwdriver outstretched towords him. "I've been looking forward to this day for so long. I even tried going back to Gallifrey but I couldn't..."

"Its gone. Its in a time pocket." He inched closer to her until their fingers finally touched. They both knew the truth then. They had found another of their kind. "I'm the Doctor."
