Chapter 10

I couldn't fall asleep that night.. I kept glancing at the clock till I couldn't wait anymore. It was 4 am so I decided to take a long hot shower to try to relax, it worked for a bit and I was happy about it. After drying my hair and body I change into a pair of sweatpants and a sweatshirt with my air max, once I was ready I went downstairs and into the kitchen, to my surprise everyone was there drinking a cup of coffee. I waved at them and took a sit in one of the empty stools.

"Hey Ash, do you want anything to eat?"

"Thanks James but I don't think that I'll be able to eat till J.J is back with me"

"Yeah me too but at least have something, coffee? Milkshake? Juice?"

"Fine. Can I please have some orange juice?"

"Of course, I'll be back with it"

Once he returned with my juice I thanked him and looked back to the clock on the wall, it said 6am, just half hour more and we'll be on our way, and all I could think of was asking God to keep an eye on J.J and to not let anything happen to her.

"Alright everyone we're reviewing everything again before we leave, everyone knows their duties right?" Asked John.

Once we all nodded he continued "ok, we'll be splitting in two teams as you know, I have a bunch of gear and equipment we all will be wearing, no exceptions Ash" he said looking directly at me, since he knows that I hate to wear extra stuff, "once we're all equipped, we'll be communicating with a special radio, and it's connected to my army friends, ok? so now let's get dressed"

I looked at the equipment, I admit that I did liked my vest, it was black and had my initials in bright pink, there also was a pocket knife, some spray and ropes. Of course everyone else except for Tom and I had guns and other cool stuff.

"John what's the spray for?"

"I'm glad that you asked haha I know that you'll like it, it's for disabling surveillance cameras and is also used to melt or brake hard stuff"

"Haha yeah I like it, I'll be using it a lot haha"

"Haha I knew it but please don't do anything to bad cuz your dad will kill me"

"Don't worry John, you know I'll only use it for small pranks"

"Ok, now we have to go so we can be in time for everything"

John made two teams, in one was Julian, Rob and Tom, they were gonna pick up two of John military friends on their way to the airport, while John, Lucas, James, Dave and me were going to find J.J since Dave found a tiny signal on her phone. We all hoped in two escalades, and went in our separate ways promising to be in contact at all times.

"Where are we going John?"

"Dave found the signal near the forest, we for a fact know that there are small houses there and that's it's a dangerous neighborhood"

"Ok, what are we gonna do?"

"We're gonna try to locate J.Js phone signal again, so we can know for a fact where she is, if we don't find the signal, well we will have to do it the old fashion way and knock on every door but being super discrete, cuz we don't want someone to alert the son of a bitch"

"Ok, how far are we? And it's already 7:10 and he hasn't called me or anything! Should I be worried?"

"Don't worry Ash, I'm sure he's trying to pissed you off or semething" he must be a psychic, cuz when he finished his sentence, my phone alerted me that I had a new text...

Call your pilot and tell him that I'm 10 min away from the private airport, once I'm on the plane, I'll text you where J.J is, there better not be any surprises, or you'll say goodbye to your precious friend
