Chapter 18 : Its Back

Lucy's POV

I felt the warmth of Natsu's bare chest radiating onto my bare back. I could feel his muscular arms wrapped around my waist and arms.

After trying to move around I realized I had zero clothes on, neither did Natsu. I blushed madly thinking 'we slept together.. Like really slept together..'

I maneuvered my way around till I was facing Natsu. The blushing calmed as I stared at him in his peaceful slumber.

But that's okay, I trust him and really really love him.' I reached my hand up and played with his soft spikes.

Looking down at his chest my eyes grew wide. I sat up and rolled him over, pinning his back down so I could look at his chest better.

There in the middle of his chest, just like it did so many years ago was the mark E.ND.

"Natsu?... Natsu??" I spoke poking his cheek. "What's wrong Luce?" He spoke with his eyes still closed. "Natsu t-the m-mark is b-back.." My words trembled out of my mouth.

Natsu looks at me confused then sits up. He follows my gaze upon his chest then sighs. "Natsu I thought you got ride of it?" I ask.

"I thought I did too, but it shouldn't be like last time"he said a little uncertain " promise me" I blurt out "huh?" I wrap my arms around him and hug him as tight as I can.

"promise me you won't leave me again..." I feel my words becoming choppy and my eyes filling with water.

"I've only had you back for a few months you can't leave me again." I say laying pressing my head to his chest, pressing my eyelids a tight as I can to stop the tears.

He held my head and begins to run his fingers threw my hair."I promise I'm not going to leave you Luce, not now, not ever got it?" "Unh" we sat like this for what felt like forever.

We broke apart once Natsu pulled back and grabbed his shirt "here uhh put this on lucy. Your still naked.''he says looking around the room.

I find my self giggling "hmm and I wanted who stripped me to begin with" "oh I'm sorry, I just-" "natsu it's fine" He smiles lays back down.

"I'd get up if I was you, you already blew Erza off once sure you don't wanna do that again." I see him shiver. I turn to start making breakfast and I hear Natsu go to the shower.

Natsus POV

Once I got out of the shower I got dressed, wrapped my scarf around my neck and sat down at the table. It really does hurt to see Lucy so scared.

I know she's not scared of me , she's just scared of me leaving. I'm going to do everything possible to make sure that doesn't happen. I hope I can..

"Su...Natsu." I blinked out of it hearing Lucy call my name. She was standing beside me waving her hand.

I reached up grabbed her and pulled her down into a nice long passionate kiss. "I love you Luce." I smiled as see a blush run across her face. "Hehe you're so cute " I teased.

"S-shut up and get ready, were going to the guild." She said walking off. "Just waiting on you Lucy." I laughed as I put my boots in. Moments later she walked out fully dressed and had a small smiled on.

We headed off for the guild holding hands and talking.

Normal POV

Natsu and Lucy walked into the guild and were greeted by everyone. "Oi flame brain!" Gray called out to natsu.

"Wanna go ice princess?!" Natsu yelled slamming his head into Gray's. They both started fighting and Erza came over and smashed their heads together.

Lucy sat at the counter giggling and ordered a smoothie. "Lushie!" Happy flew over and hugged Lucy.

"It's like I never see you anymore! Here want some fish?" He offered playing the fish in front of her.

Lucy shook her head "I'm fine but thank you. And I never see you because you're always with Carla and Wendy silly." She said petting his head.

"But Happy you know you can come to the apartment when ever you want. I thought with Natsu being back you'd be around more."

Happy looked down "well Natsu doesn't seem to really notice me anymore" he sniffles "he's always talking about you or hanging out with you.." He started crying.

Lucy picked him up and cuddled him "I'm sorry Happy.. I didn't mean to steal Natsu from you. Come on let's go on a job together Kay?" Happy nodded and flew up to her shoulder sitting down.

They both looked at the request board for about five minutes before choosing a job. "Natsu." Lucy called his name holding a paper in front of his face. He hurriedly grabbed it and showed of that trade mark smile.

"Happy you coming little buddy?" Happy nodded and switched from Lucys shoulder to Natsus. "We shouldn't need to pack it's only going to be a 3hour trip" Lucy explained.

"Okay Luce, wait.. Do we have to take the train?" He said very nervous. "Yes Natsu we have to take the train -.-" "ah man"

(Time skip to train)

"Urg lucy." Natsu cried and covered his mouth. Lucy grabbed his shoulders and laid him in her lap. "There there rest up Kay?" She spoke softly running her fingers through his spiky hair.

'Ahh this is comforting' Natsu thought as he fell asleep. "Natsu..Natsuu . Hmm, I have food!" Natsu jumped up.

"awe Lucy you're mean. I'm really hungry" Lucy sweat dropped "Natsu you just woke up.." Natsu stood up and laid the sleeping Happy on his head.

"Well sleeping makes me hungry." Natsu explained as they got off the train. "Fine let's eat then were going on the mission." Natsu nodded and smiled brightly. "Food food food!" He chanted as they sat down. Lucy giggled at his silliness, then order.

Sorry it's really short. I'm having a writers block, but I kind of know what I wanna do next. So have my exams next week Ima try and write a whole bunch😁👍🏻 -.- not that anyone cares
