Chapter 2

I had been listening to 5 Seconds of Summer in Katy's room for about an hour now.

I didn't know much the words, once in a while I would hum along to "Heartbreak Girl," but that was about all the songs I knew by them.

I wasn't a big 5SOS fan. I thought they were cute and all, but they didn't have a vibe like One Direction.

One Direction was my life, and finally Katy seemed to notice I was a bit bored with 5 Seconds of Summer.

"Want to listen to One Direction?" Katy asked, handing me her IPod.

I grinned, unlocking it. "I thought you would never ask."

Katy cracked a small smile, turning to keep reading over a small passage in her book.

I switched the music to one of my favorite One Direction songs.

The one that I came with, she had to go.

Katy seemed to like the song as she whipped around, turning up the speakers.

The one that I came with didn't know how to move.

My loud, obnoxious singing was interrupted by a small vibration in my hand. I looked down and saw my phone light up.

Message alert from unsaved number.

I hesitantly opened up my phone. Who was this?

Unkown: hey you weren't home so i just left the package on your doorstep

Me: what package? who are you? do i know you?

I guessed this was a wrong number because I didn't remember ordering a package.

Unkown: is this Jack?

Me: no..

Unknown: oh. sorry. wrong number ;(

Me: ah no its fine..

Unknown: hey but you seem pretty cool.. mind if i talk?

Me: um im at a friends house right now

Unknown: okay. ill text you later

Me: wait wait but i dont even know you, you could be some guy wanting you kill me or something

Unknown: kill you? lmao

Unknown: do you like one direction?

Me: um ya i guess

Unknown: then you will like me :)

Me: but that doesnt even make sense who is this

Unkown: i will text you later bye

Me: bye?

I looked up, seeing Katy peeking over my shoulder, a quizzical look appearing onto her face.

"Who was that?" She asked.

"Just some creep. I don't know." I replied with a small shrug. She nodded and turned away.
