After a whole day of running around classes and sprinting through school trying to find the right classes, I had finally reached home.

I switched the key around and set it in the cupboard of my car. My fingers fumbled for the door latch as I looked around for my phone, which I had put someplace on my way back from school.

Finally I noticed it in the console. I grabbed it and shut the console back.

My fingers pulled on the door latch. It opened with a slight squeak and I giggled slightly. Poor car... It's so old.

I hopped out, shutting the door behind me and walking towards the front door of my house.

My boots clicked up the staircase towards the door, and after walking up, I opened the door.

I walked into the house, shutting the door behind me and throwing my bag onto the couch, where I plopped down, kicking up my feet on the coffee table in front of me and laying my head back, letting out a content sigh in relaxation.

I turned my phone on, quickly typing in the code before clicking on the Twitter app.

@NiallOfficial: Nice day of some golf with Harry and Louis.. #teamniall

@Harry_Styles: @NiallOfficial: I think I did better! #teamharry

I literally had to pick which side to trend– but, not that I could trend one of those. I would have to leave it to one of the bigger accounts to trend something like that. I only had just a hundred or two followers on Twitter. I obviously wasn't doing just so well.

I lived a horrible social life, lets be honest.

Deciding to take Harry's side just for once, I retweeted his tweet and replied with the hashtag.

Normally I would have taken Niall's side, but it looked a bit odd when you would search through my account and see Niall's posts all the time. I didn't tweet much anything– just retweeted his tweets.

"Mariah!"

The silence was broken with the sound of my mum yelling my name from the kitchen.

I jumped off of the couch with a groan, jogging towards the kitchen.

The mouthwatering smell of my mum's excellent cooking hit my nose. It was something I had always been very excited about whenever I stepped into the Kitchen while she was cooking.

"Wow, what are you cooking?" I asked with a slight grin.

My mum ignored my question. "I want you to go get Alex and Jay for dinner, please. They're in your brother's room."

I nodded, turning to jog back up the staircase.

I wandered down the hallway until I reached my brother's room. I could hear him playing some sort of war game, the slightly faint sounds of gunshots and explosions escaping past the door.

I knocked once before opening the door. "Alex?"

The game was paused as Alex looked up at me, blinking in confusion. "Yeah?"

"Time for dinner."

His friend, Jay, looked up at me as well, and laughed just slightly when Alex leapt up with a bright grin and grabbed Jay's arm. His dark brown eyes widened in surprise as Alex tugged him through the doorway, while Alex mumbled, "Finally!"

I giggled, watching as Jay dramatically put a hand out as if reaching for me, a 'terrified' look on his face.

I waved, mouthing to him, "Sorry!"
