Love you blog tons! Can you write an alex one where you guys celebrate your child's first birthday

AN Okay, so I realized after like halfway through the story that Alex has a sister named Jillian but no one ever mentions her, so I kind of forgot. So we're just going to pretend that he doesn't, or that the source I had for that information lied to me. I'm too lazy to change anything now. Alex with children is absolutely adorable and I am still recovering from this cuteness. No text conversation for this one.

Your POV

"Y/N!" Alex called. "Jilly is ready for breakfast!"

I smiled walking into the living room. Alex, my husband, just got our little girl up for her first birthday ever. We had planned the entire day out, Alex helped me think of ideas last night. We weren't going to throw any giant birthday party for her, because let's face it, she's one. She hasn't made any toddler friends. So we just wanted to do some family stuff. Just Alex, me, and Jillian.

"Send her down, Alex!" I called back.

"I'm not sending her down, she's a baby, she can't even walk yet!"

"You know what I mean, Lex!" I heard him laugh and his footsteps followed, coming down the stairs with Jillian in his arms.

"How's my little baby?" I ruffled her little tiny baby hair and kissed her head.

"She's hungry, babe," Alex told me, kissing the top of my own head.

"Alex, I don't want to feed her, it'll hurt." I make a pouty face at him and cross my arms. He's holding Jillian in his arms.

"I get that, but the doctor said that we start weaning her off after she turns one, so after today, we can start trying." He rubs my arm sympathetically.

I nod, and grab Jilly from him. She smiles and grabs a lock of my hair and starts playing with it. I head over to the kitchen and place her on my lap. The doorbell rings and I look over at Alex with questioning eyes.

"The boys are here!" Alex chirps.

"I thought we weren't having anyone over? I'm breastfeeding!"

"Come on, Y/N, it's just the guys. They just wanna give Jilly her presents and wish her a happy birthday. They're her uncles."

"Fine, but only for a little, we still have our whole day ahead of us."

He smiles and leans down to kiss me on the cheek. I watch as he goes to let the guys in, and our house is now filled with voices of men. Or man boys. Yeah, man boys.

Jack is the first to come in the room. "Happy birthday Jilly!" He shouts and brings her present on the table. "Y/N, what are you doing? Oooh! A booby!"

"Say what I think you're going to say, and I'll knee you in the balls," Alex threatens, and slaps him upside the head.

Jack rubs his head where Alex smacked him. "I wasn't going to, jeez, calm down Alex."

"Happy birthday," Rian tells Jilly as he sets down her presents. Zack comes in as well and ruffles her head.

"I wanna watch her open her presents!" Jack shouts.

"Jack, she's one, not five. She can't even change her own clothes."

"Come on Jack, we should go, they're going to have their little family party," Zack tells him.

"I wanna go though," Jack pouts. I fix my shirt and give Alex Jillian.

"Don't worry Jack, you can come next time, when she starts talking," I smile at him.
