Chapter 13: King

Everyone gazed curious eyes into the next dungeon. Streaks of light tickled the cobblestone floor below us. We stumbled in as a convoy to meet our enemy. Noticeably, the dungeon's area was huge, and coated in cobblestone. The glass protecting us from exiting the dungeon bacame more visible than any of the other dungeons. Our emerald armor glittered in light as the enemy came out of hiding.

The King, a beast like creature with three heads emerged out of air. Everyone took two steps back to strategize a difficult boss fight.

"How many do you think will spawn?" I asked, eyeing the King.

"Multiple. After each one is defeated." Death responded quickly.

"Don't sound smart. Wizard and Happy sounded smart, and they died." Guy cautioned.

We wielded our emerald swords ready for battle, and our bows were slung over our shoulders. Immidiate attacks came barraging in as arrowss rained on The King. As his counter, he shot fireballs blazes shot, except it dealt more fire damage and exploded on contact. Our amor was on the weak side to this, at it would degrade faster than we could kill The King. He shot glares at us with his red and yellow eyes everytime a fireball was ejected.

We started to blast arrows at The King trying to deal early damage. His fireball attack was imensely powerful, especially at his attack turns. We started to form a circle and shot arrows in sync. The King had to pivot his head and attack us with his fireballs.

Meanwhile

"It's time!" The hacker yelled.

Command blocks and sirens were flashing here and there, and levers and buttons were flocked infinitely.

Meanwhile

A black egg had suddenly spawned out of the blue. One of the fireballs brushed against the egg, breaking it. A massive black creature emerged, the Queen.

"Hold back! Hold back!" Guude started panicking.

Everyone tried ro get as far back as possible, maybe even the previous dungeon. From the sky, and orange beacon fell into place where the egg was. I started ejecting fireballs from every direction. Fireballs here, there, everywhere. There was no way to contain what was happening.

I put my emerald sword in front of me to shield my eyes from the fire. I walked up to the beacon, and tried by all means to destroy it. It kept on pelting an infinite amount of fireballs which seemed to deal more damage the closer yiu are to it. The Queen and King were probably laughing at this puny display works, and they started to give off even more fireballs.

Strength potions started falling on the King and Queen. The others had started in the quest to destroy the beacon. Stray fireballs hit our armor, until worse happened. We were on the job of breaking the beacon, when huge fireballs were emitted. They shot left and rught, and everyone at this point was running around like headless chickens. The firballs threw us back huge, slamming into the cobblestone walls. I could feel my bones weaken and my armor give out everytime I was banged against the wall. Mercyless.

The fire rate started increase. We were being trapped backs on the wall every now and then, and the King and Queen stomped on us every now and then. Peace was trying everything, but nothing worked.

Existence was delivered a stray shot to the right of her chest repeatedly. A whole was burned through the armor faster than ever. Shot after shot after shot. The battlefield was too blinding to see anyone, only their names visible.

"Help!" Existence cried.

No one could reach her. A whole was burned throught the emerald armor faster than we could rhink of options. The fireballs pierced her skin, blooding trickling out everytime. Her ribcage and lungs were being shredded every fireball.

"Good-bye." Existence said.

I secluded myself in a tight corner of the room for peace.

The battle continued as Peace put the head on the monument. The beacon was a ruthless machine that spewed fireballs without end.

"I just remembered." Death said.

He charged his bow and sent an arrow that exploded upon contact. The beacon was devastated as it blew to tiny bits.

"How did you get that bow?" I asked whilst shouting.

"Oh yeah, when mods came out, I applied my own mod to make this one. I forgot about it for most of the time." Death answered.

At this point, Death made my blood look idiotic.

Arrows were being rained on the King and Queen much more easily thanks ro Death's bow. The first wave was gone before the next King and Queen spawned. These ones eemed to have regeneration, strength, and haste at a supernatural rate. The fireballsmthey shot were much bulkier, and their attacks were performed faster. Health was lowered as quickly as possible until most of us chomped on our emerald apples.

"This should be the last one." TDM neared the King.

It opened its wings and threw her off, banging her against a wall. Rapid tried to save her, only putting her on more hurt. The King and Queen fired concentrated fireballs at them, supposedly dealing amazing damage. Everyone, especially Death, tried to counter the attack with their arrows. The King and Queen stayed focused on destroying Rapid and TDM. The fireballs riped through their skin and started fracturing bones. Bones were broken to the point where they couldn't move. We could see the health bar toggle down, hoping we'd save lives.

"Almost!" Death said, shooting a charged arrow.

Everyting seemed like slow motion. The King and Queen were shooting fireballs, TDM and Rapid's health was low, and the finishing arrow was coming. The King sent out one more fireball, just enough to kill them, before he and the Queen ultimately died to the arrow. There was a long delay in messages, but the pond of blood that leaked out had no delay. The blood became a small river, which was positioned near my feet.

There was a mist silence in the room. Peace got the heads without saying anything, and we pictured the bloody massacre in our heads.

"You win some, you lose some kid." Paul reassured Death.

"Yeah. You got the skills of becoming my level of awesomeness if you screw the forgetting part." Zisteau encouraged.

Death let a smile escape his face, as we marched to the loot room.
