The blood in me stops moving. My heart is skipping beats. My fists are clenching, so are my teeth. I'm so angry that I think I'm gonna cry, or worse, throw up.
Except, I don't show it. I can't. And I won't. I just keep it inside me, hoping it won't linger for too long. It's only a matter of time before zero period starts.
"Get lost Danny, this isn't even your class." explained Simon.
He was right. This isn't his class. This was the gifted class. Danny is in regular. I wish all the kids like Danny can stay in regular, but sadly there are some smart assholes, in theory anyways.
"Shut up , chipmunk." as soon as Danny says, I can hear kids chuckling. I guess lots of people have seen Alvin and the chipmunks. Poor Simon.
Thankfully, Danny lost interest in ruining the book for me, and decided to hang out with his idiot friends out in the hallway. My blood moves again. I let out the breath I didn't know I was holding. I'm not scared of Danny, no. I'm scared of Simon.

DING DONG DING DONG DING DO-
Lunch, my favorite time of the school day. I practically sprint across the blacktop, across the field, to The Spot. The Spot consists of all my really good friends. The location is just outside the girl's locker room, between to walls. Openings on each side. I make it, only to find Cøry and Natsu, sitting there eating cookies. They look up to see me.
"Hey Sky." They say in unison.
I sit down next to Lucifer (Natsu) and start reading.
The reason why there is so many names for Natsu is cause she always comes up with them and it's just, oh. Like we call her Lucifer, Nutella, Jaia, and so much more. But I like her real name, Natsu. It sounds foreign and nice. Unique.
They are both eating cookies that Natsu probably brought. Yum. She brings the best food to eat. Always offers, and wastes. Yes wastes. You'll see what I mean.
Cøry is listening to music from his phone. He loves the band Twenty One Pilots, or should I say, tøp. I love the band too, he showed them too me in middle school. Ah, those where the days.
I look around, looking for my partner in crime.
"Where's Lily?" I ask with a little concern in my voice for some reason.
Cøry seemed to be the only one to notice me say something. Natsu is too busy with stuffing cookies in her mouth. Ha.
"I'm sorry? Whatcha say?"
"I just wanted to know where Lily is."
"Oh, yeah she's here, I'm not sure where she is at the mome- NATSU!"
These sudden volume changed was so unexpected, it startled me to the point where I flinched. Gosh.
Anyways, I look over too Natsu, seeing her throw a cookie at - wait for it - a wall. Yep. Wastes times hundred.
"What?" Natsu asks, like she did nothing wrong.
"You threw a cookie at a f*cken wall."
"The cookie was a whore!"
"What?!" Cøry's face , priceless.
"Heh."
The thing is, no one knows when and what Natsu will say next, and if your lucky, you won't be confused.

Sixth period, or P.E. The only thing I hate about P.E. Is the locker rooms. Goodness gracious, mind as well put a bunch of monkeys in there , and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
As soon as I'm dressed, (white shirt with school logo, green shorts, white socks with green stripes, and green converse) I make my way across the P.E. Area and sit down at my dot.
As if it was like fate, Simon's dot is next to mine, so buddies. Pffft.
I mean don't get me wrong he's cool and all, and he reads pure fiction. But I don't know him too well. Maybe I should. Yeah. Maybe.
As if on cue, Simon comes along down to the row next to me and sits his booty down on the asphalt. He gives me a look with his stunning four eyes. He waves at me, with a little chuckle and his eyes kinda closed. Like a school girl. Hmmmm.
He grabs a loose rock from the ground and -not throws, but- tosses it my bare leg. Ok. It's on.
Boink clack Boink clack. Boink clack Boink clack Boin-
"SIMON PEXTON!"
Clack.
"SKYLAR CADEN"
Stares. All the stares stabbing my soul slowly with rings of fire around them. Not to mention with me drowning in my own embarrassment and regret. The anxious shiver takes over my body giving me a little wiggle. I don't know where to look. WHERE DO I LOOK? TEACHER? SIMON? THE ROCK IN MY HAND? THE SKY? WHAT?
"Care to tell me what you two are doing?" The teacher seems to be having a good day, since she usually yells like a troll. Ha...
"I was.. Uh-" I couldn't talk.
"We were picking flowers of this wonderful asphalt miss."
no simon, no please.
"Excuse me? Don't give me attitude. Your tax goe-"
"Yeah yeah they pay you no matter what grade we get, I've heard this before. Like, a trillion times."
WHAT IS HE DOING?
"EXCUSE ME? I WILL CALL YOUR PARENTS."
simon, I swear to...
" bite me. "

Simon wasn't there for the rest of the period. I was stuck playing ball with some idiot that won't shut up about the new album from blah blah. Why Simon? WhHY?
He was in the locker room though. I pull the loops on my shoe to make them even, then go straight. for. him.
"What's wrong with you?" I give him my famous aww look, Sky is so adorable when he mad OH YES HE IS GOOCHIE GOOCHIE GOO. Like Simon once said, bite me.
"Where do I start? Ha. Anyways gotta go and get this stupid slip signed." He actually laughed. Like. AHA laughed. I would've been balling like spongeboob.
"You seem to be calm abOut this... hm?"
"Ha, yeah. Hey uh, wanna come to my house later? Got a telescope we can look through at night."
"Oh, uh-"
"I know I know, sudden right? I just have a feeling I'm gonna be bored out of my mind and it would be cool to... Oh shoot hold on."
He grabs his humming phone and answers. He seems to be listening more then talking. Mom? Dad? Friend? Oh well, I don't like being too nosy, so I wave him a goodbye. Except he ends the call really REALLY quickly and grabs me by my shoulder. I let out a quiet but noticeable yelp. He's a little close to my face, but I don't think much of it. Right? Yeah. This is normal. Yeah totally. uh. crap .
"Turns out today is bad for telescope time."
Telescope time?
"Anyways " he continues " I was wondering if we can hang out on this weekend. Which is like 3 days from now. Please."
I give him a no look. But...
"Fine. But I better see some beautiful stars."
"YES! SEE YA BUUDIE!"
He gives me an unexpected hug, where I can feel his little soft nose on the back of my neck. Warmth runs around my body like wild fire. Oh my.
I watch him run through the empty rows of rusty lockers, till he is out of sight. So he won't see me have an unexpected meltdown. Very very. Unexpected.
