As usual, I wake up to the sound of the front door opening and closing; indicating Aunt Stella is off to work and I'm home alone. For days like this, I would cook breakfast and sit on my ass while watching re-runs of spongebob or watch movies from the early or mid  90's. But I will not be doing that today. Today is when I start my new job as a real-estate assistant.

Aunt Stella's friend; Roxie is a real-estate agent and needs a new assistant since her last one moved to New Jersey. So Aunt Stella told her I need a job and something to do while everyone is gone. Of course Roxie agreed and gave me the job right away.

To start off my day, I cooked myself a quick breakfast that can last me until I get hungry again, which will be in three hours. I did my hygiene and took a shower before straightening my hair and putting on my blouse and pencil skirt that helped cover up my baby bump.

Just on time, Roxie pulled up to the house and honked her horn. I walked out with my lunch box in my right hand and the house keys in the other with a huge smile. It felt like I was going to pre-K all over again.

"Hello." I greeted once I ease my way into the car.

"Hello. You ready for work?"

"Of course, boss lady."

"Let's hit it." Roxie drove off into the calm street.

"As you can see I am the only real-estate agent in town, which means a I make a whole rack of money. And since me, you and Theresa are the only ones that's apart of he real- estate are paychecks are very awesome." Roxie said.

"Like over two thousand dollars awesome and we get paid twice a month." Theresa said as she smiled. She was Native American with long black hair, her skin was flawless and she was shaped like a model; tall, thin and has curves. Also she can rock heels and she's nice, smart and caring.

"Sometimes three times a month, depending what mood I'm in.." Roxie added with a wink; making my giggle.

"I would certainly love it here." I said with a huge smile.

"Great. Now the only thing you need to do is answer calls, schedule appointments and give people the addresses to the house. You thank you can handle?" Roxie asked.

I nod. "Yup."

Roxie clapped her hands together before hopping off the desk she was sitting on. "Great, let's get to work then. Oh and lunch is at noon, but you can have snacks just make sure you clean up your station. I don't want any thing crawling around."

I nod. "Got it."

Roxie gave me a slight smile before walking in her office and closing the door. That's when Theresa walked in front of my desk, that was closer to the entrance. "So tell me about yourself. Usually we don't get a lot of people applying here." She sits on the edge of my desk with her body turned to me.

"Well as you already know my name is Tasha, I'm currently 23 and married-"

Theresa gasped. "You're a little young to be married."

I chuckled. "I know, but love has no age."

"So true. What's your husband's name?"

"Malik Buhari."

"Mm. He's foreign?"

From the corner of my eye, I can see her legs swinging back and forth like I was telling her a very good story. "He lived in South Africa when he was a child before moving in the U.S. Tell me a little about yourself." I didn't want to get into to much detail of my life.
