Natasha internally cursed as Mark Daniels pushed the end of the gun harder against her head. This was not part of the plan. Then again, when did things ever go according to plan?

"Did you really think I wouldn't discover you, Ms. Romanoff?" Daniels grounded out. "I have eyes everywhere. Not much happens that I don't know about."

"As soon as you contacted your little friend, what was his name again? Oh yes, Mister Barton. As soon as you contacted him I was alerted. After that, it was quite simple; I just slightly adjusted my plans and I had it all covered."

Natasha stared straight ahead, keeping a straight face. She purposefully pushed Daniels's usage of the word "was" to the back of her mind, she would have to deal with that later. If she let her emotions shows, Daniels would know how to get to her. And that couldn't happen.

"How?" she said, letting a drop of fear leak into her voice. It was better to let Daniels think that he'd gotten to her. Hopefully if she played along long enough he'd eventually slip up. "No one was on that balcony with me, I checked. There weren't any cameras or anything like that either."

A small demented laugh escaped him at her question.

"You'd be surprised what you can do with Chitauri tech and a few brilliant minds. I mean the sky's the limit. Or in this case invisibility. I knew that S.H.I.E.L.D. would come after me. The only question was when."

At this Natasha shifted slightly in his grasp, she didn't like it when people knew things they shouldn't know. And Daniels definitely knew more than he should.

"And then it struck me," said Daniels continuing his speech, "A charity ball, hosted by one of the Avengers himself. It was perfect, for them and for me. Lots of my contacts would be here, making it easier to gather information and parts. And S.H.I.E.L.D. would think that they had the upper hand, making them cocky and more likely to mess up. That combined with my invisible warriors made it all to easy. Though I must say, I wasn't expecting them to send you in. It was a nice surprise, especially with that dress of yours," he said, sliding the hand that wasn't holding the gun to her head down her side, to the hem of her dress.

Natasha stiffened as he slowly drew circles on her thigh with the pad of this thumb. Repulsion filled her body at his touch and she was relieved when he slowly removed his hand, drawing it back toward his own body.

"But that will have to wait till another time," Daniels said, his voice low and filled with something that she did not want to identify. "Now, come with me," he commanded, straightening the gun, which had started to slope downward.

He pushed her forward, making her stumble as she tripped over a worn-out shoe.

Daniels growled deep in his throat as he pulled her upright, "Come on now, we don't have all day."

They made their way alley, Daniels forcefully shoving her out of the way of boxes and other rubbish that blocked their path.

When they finally reached the car, Daniels surprised her by pushing her around the car and not into it. When they where at the driver's window he shoved her forward, pining her up against the car with her arms behind her back. Then, smiling maniacally, he tapped the glass, which in return rolled down. A gloved hand reached out and grabbed a cloth wrapped object that Daniels produced from his coat pocket, most likely the result of a meeting with one of his contracts.

As the dark tinted window
rose upward, Daniels pulled Natasha up, turning her to face him. "Now that we're all alone, let's go have some fun." And with that he started to drag Natasha toward the old warehouse across the street, the gun still pressed against her skull.

The entrance to the warehouse was off to the side, away from the street and wandering eyes. The building itself was old and worn down. The pavement outside was cracked and broken and the lights by the door were burned out. Daniels roughly shoved Natasha against the cold brick wall of the warehouse and smiled.

"Now there's on last thing to do before you get to go inside," said Daniels as he pulled twister ties out of his pockets with the hand not holding the gun. "Normally I'd use rope, it's much more erotic, but in this case I feel a much stronger bond will be better."

Natasha stiffed as he grasped both of her hands with bruising force and started to put on the ties, lowering the gun in the process.

Natasha lunged backwards, throwing Daniels off balance and loosening his grip on her. She spun around and kneed him in the groin causing him to fall to the ground gasping. The spy turned to run, only for a hand to wrap around her ankle, making her crash to the ground as she went to move.

"You bitch!" Daniels screamed as he pulled Natasha toward him and pinned her under him. His face was bright red and he was still struggling to breathe normally. He pulled his hand back and slapped her face as hard as he could. Natasha gasped as red hot pain shot through her body. "You'll pay for that," Daniels whispered, as he tightly bond her, his hands wet with blood from the gashes that that covered Natasha from where the pavement had grated against her skin.

"I hate you," snarled Natasha.

"Oh darling, don't say that yet. Wait a few hours and I'll give you a very good reason to hate me."

Daniels stood up, hauling Natasha to her feet. The man smiled manically as he made his way over to the thick metal door of the warehouse. He punched a code into a small keypad on the wall and waited until the door creaked open. He pushed Natasha through the door, laughing when her eyes widened at the sight that met her.

"We're going to have so much fun tonight."
