I grab my cup of herbal lemon tea and my blanket off the counter and walk out onto my apartment balcony. I sit on the dirty ground because I'm too poor to buy any actual lawn chairs, then set down my tea. I curl into a ball and look out at the sky. Ever since I was in 1st grade my dad and I would always look at the constellations. He would tell me how I got my name. It was because my dad works with NASA and studies Neptune. He helps watch satellites that watch Neptune and was always
intrigued by one of its moons, Juliet. Ever since he told me that in 1st grade I could never go to bed without finding Neptune in the night sky. I look closer and find the tiny blue planet in the sky. I sigh in relief and knowing everything is going to be okay. Getting the lead in Swan Lake has put so much stress on me but knowing my dad is watching me in the sky helps me get through the pressure. My eyes get heavy as I take one more sip of my herbal tea so I close my eyes for a few minutes and drift to sleep.
