After what felt like the longest class ever it was finally rehearsal. I take off my pointe shoes and start putting on my black rehearsal tutu. Today we are rehearsing Odile/the black swan for Swan Lake. Charlie picks up her bag, raises her eyebrows at me and leaves the studio. I sit on the floor, take a quick sip of my water and start rolling out my Achilles with my tennis ball.
A few moments later William walks up to me. Oh boy.
"Are you excited for rehearsal?"he asks?
"Yeah! Are you the prince?" I ask nervous about his answer.
"Yep! And I'm guessing your Odette/Odile,"
"Haha yeah!"
"Congrats!" He exclaims.
"Congrats to you too!" I keep looking down and he pulls out his phone.
"Damn it." He whispers under his breath.
"What's wrong."
"Oh it was my parents. I can't find an apartment."
"Oh where are you living right now?" I ask.
"Well I'm staying in a hotel until I find an apartment but it's so damn expensive." He shakes his head and keeps looking down at his phone.
"Well, I mean I have an extra room at my place if you want to stay there until you find an apartment," I ask nervously. He looks up at me, widening his eyes.
"Really!"
"I mean yeah only if you want it!"I laugh.
"Thank you! I promise it'll only be for a few weeks." Damnit. A few weeks! What did I get myself into.
