Together, But Forever Alone

I was 15 years old about to turn 16. It was the day of my sweet 16 birthday! I could hear that my family was awake downstairs. I decided to sleep in today since it was my birthday. I laid in my bed imagining how awesome today was gonna be. All of my friends are coming over, my boyfriend Jason is coming up from Florida! I an so excited to see him so I had him come over 2 hours before everyone else. It was 10 now so he would be here in 30 minutes. So I decided to get up and get dressed. Since today was so special I was going to wear my favorite dress. Jason had bought it for me for Christmas last year. I went to the bathroom to put some makeup and do my hair. I just finished curling my hair and putting on my makeup when I heard 3 gunshots from which sounded like they came from somewhere close. I ran downstairs and my mom, dad and brother weren't in the livingroom. They weren't in the game room either. I started to get really scared. Jason will be here in 10 minutes! I ran outside to the backyard to find my mom, dad, and brother dead.
