                                       CHAPTER FOUR

A few days had passed since Louis' almost-crash, Cher's little move on Perrie, and Harry's breakdown leading to a revelation. It's now Friday morning, and no one is ready for all that today will bring.

Liam and Niall have been spending most of their free time together, along with some class time when the teachers were being extremely boring, working out some minor details that will help them to put their plan into action.

"Li, are you sure this will work?" Niall asked for the fifth time that morning.

"Yes, Niall. I'm positive. What could go wrong?" The two boys are sitting in the cafeteria before school started, twenty minutes from now.

"Okay...Let Operation 'Take Me Back In Time' commence." Niall said enthusiastically.

"Why'd you name it that?" Liam asked, his voice filled with curiosity.

"Isn't it obvious? Harry and Lou used to be such good friends, and now they aren't, so we're just helping them 'go back in time' and become best friends again!"

Liam sighs. "If only it were that easy..." He whispers to himself.

"But mum...Do I have to go to school today? I'm not lying when I say I don't feel good!" Jay narrows her eyes at her only son.

"Louis, we've gone over this. You and I both know that, that was a lie. You can't hide from people when things get tough. You just have to stand a little taller, act a little stronger, and look them straight in the eyes, showing them that you are not a coward. Now, get to school or else you'll be late." Louis looks down at the ground in defeat. "I'll see you later, honey, I've got to get to work." Jay stands up from her seat on a bar stool in the kitchen, kisses Lou's forehead, and walks out the front door with a 'Love you!' called over her shoulder.

"Love you too..." The stubborn boy mumbles under his breath.

With a sigh, Louis hops off his own bar stool and trudges up the stairs to get ready for school.

[This day is already looking promising.] He thinks sarcastically.

"But...Cher! I don't wanna!" Perrie whines and stomps her foot like a child, making Cher giggle cutely.

"I don't care what you say Per, I'm going to take you camping with my family this weekend." Perrie shakes her head rapidly, which causes Cher to chuckle. "I'm not taking no for an answer! Come on..It'll be fun!" Perrie still refuses to change her answer, so Cher decides to pull out the big guns.

Her pouty face.

This face has gotten her so much stuff; a laptop, new cell phone, gotten her out of chores, she didn't have to go to her dad's stupid business banquets with him, and once, she even got Harry to run around their neighborhood half naked. This expression works magic.

As expected, within ten seconds, Perrie was already agreeing with Cher that it'll be 'the best trip ever!'

"But. . .What if they don't like me or something? I mean..I don't want to be intruding on family traditions or anything. I barely know you, and I'm sure you don't want me dragging you down, cause I can't do hardly anything. I'm such a klutz and I don't do well in nature...."
