Chapter 6

Jessica's POV   ( surprise motherfûcker )

I've already landed in California, I couldn't stop thinking about how hard it was for Mac to leave Luke. I felt her pain, I had to leave Ashton. But at the same time I don't, her and Luke have this weird connection. I'm just happy that her mother let me come with her.

I wait a the entrance of the airport when my phone starts to ring. I look at it and a smile is instantly on my face. Ashton. I'm quick to answer it.

J: hey ashy

A: hey baby how was your flight?

J: ugh it was long and tiering, I just want to find a dark corner and fall asleep.

A: has Mac landed yet?

J: no her plane should be landing in the next ten minutes.

A: I saw Mr. Hemmings at the grocery store.

J: what happened? And you don't have to call him Mr. Hemmings haha.

A: haha I didn't know, anyways he looked so depressed. He wasn't his laid back self, he was just....quiet and sad.

J: did you talk to him?

A: yeah I said hi and he just gave me a sad wave.

J: damn.. You should go check on him.

A: me?! Why?

J: because you love me and it would be nice.

A: I do love you but...it's gonna be awkwarddddd

J: and? I'm sure it will make him happy to know you care. If you do this then we can FaceTime later and I'll show you something.

A: fine. Mmm babe I'm already excited.

J: so am I ill talk to you later Mac just texted me. I love you.

A: love you too bye.

I looked at the texts and Mac said they just grabbed their bags. I looked through the entrance and saw Mac walking with her head down and her headphones in avoiding the world. My smile fades. I just wanna hug her and tell her it's okay. They get closer and closer to me.

"Hey Jessica." Mrs. Longwood said.

"Hey Mac." I say waiting for her to answer. Instead she walks right past me, not even seeing me. I put my purse down and snatch the headphones out of her ears.

"What the hell!" She yells.

"Well hello to you too." A side smile appears on her face as I envelope her into a hug. "It's going to be fine." I whisper in her ear.

Mackenzie's POV

"It's going to be fine...." Those words echo through my head. All I can see is Luke.

"Everything's going to be fine Mac." I smile as he kisses me slowly.

"Mac? Mac!" I'm suddenly awoken from my thoughts, I notice we've already reached the house. "You ready to see the house?" I take a deep breath before speaking.

"As ready as I'll ever be." I start walking and look to the side Walkers Creek in big letters. I don't even know why we came to California, it's full of dumb in the head surfer boys and polluted oceans. I look up and notice I had bumped into someone.

"I'm not a dumb surfer boy." The boy smiles

Oh shit I was talking out loud.

"Hi I'm Louis." He smiles holding out a hand. I smile and shake his hand.

"Mackenzie." His smile was perfect just like Luke's.

"Did you just move to California?" I stare at him and he waves his hand in front of my face.

"What? Sorry I blanked out there." I say and he laughs.

"I said you did you just move to California?" He laughs.

"Oh haha yeah I did."

"Oh new girl." We both smile. "So where're you from?"

"Australia. My mum made me leave my dad. I mean step-dad. I mean... I don't know what I mean." We both laugh. "I'm so awkward I'm sorry." I say putting my face in my hands.

"Don't be haha, it's cute. Your cute." I start to blush as he smiles. "Well I have to go but I hope to see you around?"

"Yeah." I smile.

"I live right across the street if you need anything." He backs up. "See ya new girl." He bites his lip and walks into his house. I can't help but smile, I look at my phone.

4:30 pm

"Oh shit Luke." I run inside and upstairs claiming it as my room. I quickly set everything up and FaceTime Luke. After a few rings he answers.

"Hey princess." He smiles. I've missed his smile.

"Hey Lukey what's up?" I smile biting my lip staring at his bare chest.

"I'm good. Stop staring babe." I blush and look at the floor. "Take off your shirt for daddy princess." I smirk and lock my door and the bathroom door. He bathroom door connects into the next bedroom which I'm guessing is Jessica's. I quickly jump back onto the bed and slip my shirt off. I look at the screen seeing Luke laying on the bed staring at me.

"Now your shorts." I slowly unbutton them, teasing him. "Quit teasing babe." After my shorts are off I see Luke's are off as well.

"Mmm princess you flawless." I smile, and he plays with his lip ring.

"So have you met anyone yet?" I freeze and think about Louis. I can't say his name can I? I shouldn't. But he asked.

"Louis." I let out. His smile fades.

"Oh a boy."

"Yeah but he's not even cute." Thats a goddamn lie he's fucking hot. There was a silent pause between us.

"Mhm okay. Enough of that. How was the flight?"

"It was okay." I look at Luke to see he's jerking off.

"Um what you doing there?" I laugh.

"Thinking about your hot body baby." "Do you think you could do a favour for daddy?"
