EPILOGUE

After few months

Sarah Winters entered the night club with her friend. She was tired after working all day in the office. She had transferred to Philadelphia now. Her daughter Katherine worried for her safety, made her leave Devonsville because Karen the evil shapeshifter was after Katherine's powers.

She hadn't heard from her daughter ever since she said she'd be gone for a few days. Her friend dragged her to this Pulse bar and night club for drinks. She told her to have some fun. But how could she when all she could think was about Katherine. She'd been worried sick. She tried to call several times. She couldn't reach her.

"Come on Sarah. Have some fun", Tina her friend and fellow co-worker in office encouraged her.

"Tina, come on. Let's go. I don't want to be here", she said.

They sat on the stool. There were two bartenders. One of them was a woman who appeared to be in her late 20s. She was white, blonde, blue eyes, hand an hourglass shape. She was beautiful.

"What can I get you ladies?" she asked.

"Vodka", Tina said.

"And you", the bartender asked her.

"Nothing, just water", Sarah said.

"Coming right up", she said and went back to get our drinks.

"Sarah, come on its Friday night. Enjoy a little", Tina said.

"You brought me to a bar full of young men and women. We are over 40. What am I going to enjoy?"

"Look I don't know what's going on with you", Tina said and the bartender brought our drinks. "But you should let yourself loose". She took the vodka shot and gulped it. "Look a guy at 3'O clock is staring at me. I am going dancing", Tina said and went over to the guy who was staring at her leaving her alone.

"You should go too", the bartender said.

"What?" she turned to the bartender.

"You should go dance too", she said.

"No it's ok. I'm good", Sarah said.

"I can see something is bothering you".

Of course she was bothered. She was worried about her daughter. She just looked down at her glass of water.

"I am good listener. You can tell me if you want", the bartender said.

Sarah looked at her. She didn't know if she should tell her. But she wanted to talk to somebody. "I haven't heard from my daughter. I love her very much. I'm worried about her", she said.

"Oh, no, did you guys have a fight?"

"No, we didn't. She just... she has some stuff to do. She left a few months back. She hadn't called me yet".

"Hmmm ... kids these days. But I'm sure she'll call you back".

"I hope so".

And then she kept talking with the bartender. There was something about the young bartender that made Sarah feel comfortable. She'd been so worried for last few months. Talking with her made her feel relieved. Tina was having a blast she could see.

After sometime they both started to leave.

"It was good talking to you. I didn't get your name", Sarah said.

"I'm Nicole Harper", she said.

"I'm Sarah Winters".

"Well, I hope you hear from your daughter", Nicole said.

Sarah and Tina left.

"Who was she, Nicole. She sure talked a lot with you", asked the other bartender coming near Nicole.

"No one, Lacey. Just some woman who misses her daughter".

"Hmm.... I hope she finds her daughter then", said Lacey and went back to attend other customers.

"Ohh ... she will hear from her. Her daughter will always look out for her", said Nicole who was watching Sarah leave and then went back to attend other customers.
