For you are far from me,
As I touch the pixels on my screen,
For you create friction
That makes me snap into an unfaithful obscene.
I wake up in the middle of the night
The coldness nips at my nose,
And that's when I get filled with a terrible fright
For you are not there by my side
Are you real?
Or are you just make-believe?
Go ahead, call me naïve
But one thing that is real is the way you make me feel
Occasionally I'll let out a beg
Or even a whine
Because it suddenly hits me...
For you will never be mine.
