I stepped out of our little car and started walking toward the house. It looked exactly the same as I remembered it. I was almost to the door when I spotted four girls running out to meet my mom and I practically knocking us over.
"EMILY!" They screamed as they enveloped me in to a big group hug. They certainly didn't look the same as I remembered. Lottie and Fizzy looked really old and the twins looked like proper little girls. I searched around when I saw Jay coming out of the house, going over to hug my mom. They were really good friends before we left and it was nice to see them together again. When I managed to pry Daisy off of my leg, I started to bring my stuff up to the spare bedroom. That's when I heard my mom's voice.
"Louis! Oh my gosh you look so old and handsome!" my mom squealed and I laughed under my breath. Why did she have to embarrass him like that? I stopped what I was doing so I could hear their conversation a little better
"Hey Mrs.Rose how are you?" I heard a familiar voice say. My heart started to speed up as I stood frozen where I was standing. "Is Emily home too?"
"Yeah, she's just upstairs!" my mom said, and I started to freak out a little bit. I threw all of my clothes in the drawer and started to walk out when my eyes locked on the boy standing in front of me. It still looked like Louis just a taller version. Puberty really hit him right I thought, and I turned away so he wouldn't see the bits of red that were now creeping on to my cheeks.
"Hey Em," I heard him say and I looked up to see his blue eyes staring at me.
"Lou, what's up?" I asked, and I immediately kicked myself. I couldn't have said anything better? This wasn't regular Louis anymore, this was famous member of One Direction Louis. The one millions of girls all over the world were drooling for.
And I had him standing here with me.
"You know, just touring around," he said and we sat in silence for a bit, "I missed you." he said and I froze. I didn't realize how much I had actually missed him too, until he mentioned it. He leaned in and gave me a hug. We broke when I heard somebody clear their throat right next to us.
"I see you've found eachother," Jay smirked and we both blushed a bit, "You should come downstairs, dinner is on in a few minutes."
"Thanks mum," he said and we waited for her to leave. When she was gone he finally broke the silence. "Sorry, she can be a bit-"
"Lou I know. She was practically my mum too when I lived here," I laughed. It was true. When I was little it was like having a second mom. Louis' mother helped fill the hole left by my dad when he died. We were a little family alltogether.
"Sorry- sometimes I forget that you were here, it was such a long time ago," He smiled. You seem like a different person"
"Speak for yourself!" I said, "You're the one going on tours, making music and having girls fall all over you. How many of them actually know LOUIS, not Louis from One Direction?"
His smile faltered a little but I barely had time to notice it before his face lit up into a smirk, "Why Emily Jane Rose, am I sensing a little bit of jealosy?"
"Really Lou? Now I remeber why I left Doncaster in the first place- a certain bow was being a pain in the-"
"Lou? Em? Are you two ever going to come downstairs? You know, the rest of the family would like to catch up with you two. You'll have time to fawn over eachother later!" My mother called from the base of the stairs. She just had to ruin everything.
I looked and saw Louis smiling at me witht hose blue eyes. Damn those blue eyes.
"Yeah Emily stop fawning over me will you? You're just as bad as some of the girls on tour," Louis said playfully and I took on my very best fangirl pose.
"LEWIS! LEWIS I LOVE YOU!" Louis was laughing as we ran down the stairs, "LOU MARRY ME!"
