Niall's POV:

"Manchester, you've been great. I'm sorry I have been so immobile with my broken foot and a touch of the flu but you are the best fans on the planet. Thanks again ..We've been One Direction! "

I limped slowly off the stage behind the other three lads. I was looking forward to getting home so I could sleep in my own bed and see if I could get rid of this flu bug that was dogging me. I hadn't felt too well since the Apple show. I'd had to leave the stage then but tonight I managed to muddle my way through though I noticed Liam kept looking at me in concern. I brushed him off. I was OK, just tired and in need to some  downtime.

It didn't take me long to strip off my sweat soaked show clothes and into some sweats and a Tshirt. Waving bye to the lads, I headed out to my Range Rover and climbed in ready to drive home. Just as I was about to pull out, Liam rapped on my window so I lowered it.

"You sure you are OK to drive, Nialler? You're looking pretty pale. Maybe you should get Basil to take you home?"

"Li, I'm fine. Stop fussing "daddy". I grinned at him.

"You sure, mate?"

"Yes, I'm sure, Li. See you tomorrow. We can go clubbing after the show. See if Louis is up for it?"

"Will do. You take care, mate"

With that, Liam turned away to his own vehicle and I drove away, heading home. I even managed to evade the fans. Our fans are great, best on the planet, but when you are not feeling too great, privacy is always appreciated.

I sighed with relief when I opened my front door. Closing it behind me, I dumped my keys in the bowl on the hall table and headed for the kitchen. I grabbed  a bottle of chilled water from the fridge and then rummaged in a kitchen cupboard for some Tylenol. I swallowed two of the pills and washed them down with some of the water then headed up to my bedroom. I had a quick shower then climbed into my bed, turning the TV on. There was a rugby match on so I settled back to watch, my eyes getting heavier and heavier until I sank into sleep.
