This is not my art, if someone knows who made this picture please let me know-Spo0k1e 2/12/2018I lay in my bed, it was night. I knew I was supposed to be in bed...but I just couldn't sleep. My hands gripped the covers out of fright, the darkness terrified me. I flinched when I thought I saw something standing in my room, at the foot of my bed. Squinting my eyes in an attempt to make out what was standing in front of me.
It was still there, minutes that felt like hours passed when I gained the courage to get out of bed to see what it was- I run to the light switch and flick it on- swiftly turning around the bright light revealed that what I thought was a figure...was actually a coat on my chair... Releasing a breath fueled with relief, Keeping my light on, the bed rose up to meet me.
My eyes felt heavy when I drifted off to sleep.
I woke to what I felt was a hand brush across my arm- ignoring the odd sensation I roll over pulling the covers with me.
Next I felt something breathe on my ear- instantly sitting up, I saw nothing- Confused I rubbed my eyes.
"Hello, little girl." The voice was soft, yet raspy and high pitched- There was no-one in the room when the chair in front of the bed suddenly flew to the other side of the room slamming against the wall.
"Do as I say or I will-" the voice formed into a demanding booming tone, "PUNISH YOU, YOU LITTLE FUCK. I HATE YOU. I HATE YOU. I HATE YOU. I HATE YOU."
I burst into tears, screaming. Something landed on top of me knocking the wind out of me. The invisible thing clawed at the sheets crowding my small form. I felt someone above me but I couldn't see it.I knew that it was there...but- again- I couldn't see it. The room went oddly quiet, but I could feel it on top of me. I could hear- and feel its heavy panting. It's hot smelly breath felt warm against my face. I suddenly couldn't feel it anymore but I could hear the voices whisper in my ear. One voice came clear and it said...
The voice went smooth and soft, "It's okay sweetie. You can't fear what you can't see." It paused, "I won't hurt you if you do it."
"Do what?" I asked.
"Do it."
This odd all-knowing smile crept across my thin lips. My movement, robotic, feet sliding across the carpet. I felt as if I was a puppet. Inside I was screaming, but on the outside I was holding the axe. My parent's room sat just down the hall. My head eerily turned towards their room. I wore a Cheshire grin. I knew what they wanted me to do. The axe completed my arm in a way. I stepped down the hall whistling a happy tuned song.
"Skylar. Stop it we're trying to sleep. Go To bed." Yelled my father from his room. I opened the door.
"S-sky?" Stuttered my mom.
"She told me to do it."
"Who?" Asked my parents, staring at the axe in my hand. "Sky, she isn't real. Stop this. She's in your head." My dad began to stand up and walked towards me. When my dad was just where I wanted him, I swung the axe. The room filled with a quiet crack, and my mother's screams. I did it. I actually did it. The thing should leave me alone for now...until it's hungry again...
If you ever feel like you're being watched. You are.
If you're ever up late at night and think you see or feel something...It's there.
You can't see her...
The thing is. It finds it's next victim by the one who reads this story...
don't fool yourself into thinking she's not coming and this is bullshit.
She's there...
watching...
you can't see her...
