"We wanted to clear things up and explain the sitiation." I said. "I was friends with Hope two years before I joined the team, but we didn't realize that until about two weeks ago." "It's a long story, which we're not going to tell here." Hope said. "And also: if you've seen this kid play, you know she got on the team because of talent." the press conference ended, and Hope and I were leaving when a reporter stopped us. "I'm Colin Nichols." the man said. "I'm with Timberwood Sports. I wanted to apologize on behalf of the entire company for that article and to let you know that the man who wrote it has been fired." "That's good news." Hope said. "Thanks for telling us." "No problem." The man said.
