CHAPTER 3
When I woke up in the morning I was really scared about what will happen after I get to school. What was Josh going to do? What was going to happen with Will? I decided to put that aside and start to get ready. As I looked in the mirror I saw a 5ft 8in teen wearing a black Death Note shirt, black skinny jeans, and black skater shoes with my black messenger bag at my side. Yes, I do like black quite a lot. I pushed my black hair to the side to look at my piercing green eyes. I've been told that I have "eyes that can see the secrets of the universe" by my 6th grade English teacher. I looked at my skinny frame wondering if I'll ever get muscle when I heard a car horn coming from my driveway. I quickly ran downstairs went outside and locked my front door. And there he was. Will was standing next to his car with the driver side open. His long-ish brown hair moving in the morning breeze, hiding his soft grey eyes.. His skinny but well muscled body standing at around 6ft 2in . "Hey, need a ride?" he asked. "O-oh hi Will, I normally just walk to school." I answered. "Well today you're getting a ride, you okay with that?" he said that more as a statement than a question. "I-I guess." I stuttered. When I was in the car he hit the gas and we went to school. "So, do you have a stutter or something? Every time I've heard you speak you stutter." he inquired. To be honest, I was terrified that he asked that. Because the answer is quite embarrassing. "W-well no, I d-don't. I just s-stutter when I'm nervous and don't know what t-to say." I said. "Oh sorry, I didn't intend to be rude" he said. "N-no problem." I said, my words hanging in the air. It was a few minutes with the silence supremely awkward until he said "So you like Death Note?" I slightly panicked wondering how he'd known until I remembered I was wearing my shirt. "Oh, t-totally. L is my favorite character." I answered, relieved I had something in common with Will to talk about. "Cool, Light's my favorite character, I love his drive." he said. "So what music do you listen to?" he asked. "O-oh, I-I listen to um, dubstep, Japanese songs, Fall Out Boy, Imagine Dragons, that type of stuff." I said "Awesome." he said. "Our music tastes are exactly the same." "Really?" I said, blushing. "Yeah, totally!" he said. "Have you listen to The Gazette or that song Hello Sleepwalkers? I listen to them just about every day, they're so good." We then went to school talking about anime and music the whole way.
