It felt very weird for Shishido Ryou to talk to Ranmao bout Ranfa but he felt at peace talking about the pink haired girl that once fell in love with him. He often wondered what would have happened if he had accepted Ranfa's confession back then; would they have been happy? Would he be able to give her the same happiness Atobe can give her?
"Shishido, thank you for telling me a lot about Sakura for the past few days." Ranmao found it quite pleasant to hang out with Shishido. He wasn't so bad if you can look over some of his foul language.
"No problem, are you sure you are not bored listening to me talk about another girl?"
"I am not. I have been hearing Ranfa's name ever since I came here, I am curious as to what kind of a girl she is."
"I see." Shishido noticed Ranmao doesn't use honorifics when referring to others. He wondered if it was because of her upbringing in Hong Kong. "Ranfa always called people older than her 'Senpai'. It's clear that she is stronger than us but she still used honorifics in respect up her upperclassmen. Shishido chose not to talk to Ranmao about this because he wanted Ranfa to call him 'Shishido-senpai', instead of her. 'At the end of the day, she is not Sakura...' Whenever he remember this sort of reality, he can feel a small bit of pain in his heart.
"I'm gonna go to class now. It has been fun hanging out with you." Ranmao smiled at him and she walked away.
"...it would be great if you were Sakura." Shishido said to no one.
Back in Osaka, Shiraishi and Kenya can see that their roommate was still very upset about Ranfa's disappearance. They tried various things to cheer him up but it wasn't working at all because Zaizen will always tell them to leave him alone.
"Zaizen, Shiraishi made takoyaki." Kenya walked into Zaizen's room to see him looking through a photo album. He walked over to see Zaizen was looking at pictures from his childhood, some of Ranfa's childhood pictures can be seen too.
"I'm sure she will be found, try not to lose hope, okay?"
"Hm."
"Huh?" Kenya was looking at a picture of baby Ranfa in a shirt, looking angry because she doesn't want to wear pants. Kenya can see a heart shaped birthmark on the side of her left knee. "She does have a birthmark."
"Yeah."
"It was already there when she was a baby?! It can be possible that Ranmao girl is Ranfa!"
"...what?"
"Imagine a person growing up, Zaizen. What do you think happens to the skin when a person grows?" Shiraishi asked by the door, catching on what Kenya was trying to imply.
"It's common sense that it would stretch to accommodate the size of the person-" Zaizen finally realized what his senpais were saying; hope still exist!
Later that day, Atobe was making his way to the student council president office so he can enjoy today's afternoon tea. He told Kabaji to prepare it so by the time he got there, he will be able to have a nice drink. He also has something important to tell Ran when he's in the roo-
"Kya~! Atobe-sama~!"
"Atobe-sama, we love you!"
It's nothing new he will be surrounded by cute girls wherever he went. His fangirls always wanted him to look at them just once since Ranfa was missing.
None of them dared to mention Ranfa's name; last year when an aggressive fan confessed her love to him, she told him that Ranfa was not here anymore and he needed to accept that reality she will never return. That fangirl received Atobe's rage on that day in a scarily calm manner; Atobe told the girl that he will never ever see her way even if they were the only humans on earth because he would rather perish than be with her. He also warned if she mentioned Ranfa's name in his presence, he will use all of his power to crush her like an ant.
