I was sat on the couch, on my laptop scrolling through resorts in Turks N Caicos. Everything looks really pretty but I want to choose the most romantic location for our get away. I was at my team meeting discussing my VMAs and how to incorporate my proposal to Nicki. My creative director Jeff suggested I perform All eyes on you and invite Nicki up to the stage. At the end I have to think of a cute speech that will segway into the big moment! I was getting nervous just thinking about it. I fidgeted in my chair.
"Everything sounds good in terms of the performance and the proposal" I said.
"Yup. Rehearsals Next week. See you later Meek."

I left the conference room and walked to my car. I like driving myself because it relies me. Although Nicki says I'm a crazy driver😂. I love Nicki so much. I'm gonna surprise her. On the way back I'm gonna get her flowers. I called her.
"Hey Nic I'm stopping at the grocery store. You want me to get anything?"
"Can you pick up tampons? I'm expecting my period soon. And chocolate bars please."

This was the poem I would say at the end of my performance to ask the love of my life to marry me. The thought of it made me nervous. I'm excited but what if she says no on live TV? I have to stop thinking so negatively. Everything will be perfect.
