"New?"
Ricky snapped out of his trance of staring out the bus window, looking at who just spoke to him.
"What?"
"You new?" The guy sitting beside him asked, a excited smile plastered on his face, I nodded in response.
"You're kind of creeping him out, ya' know, Joshua.." The guy in front of my seat spoke as he sat up and leaned on the top of the seat, eyeballing me with a neutral look. This guy looked pretty feminine for such a husk like voice. It still had hints of the feminine side for certain words, but enough to differ from a girls.
"What's your name, kid?" A girl who sat across from my seat asked, she had light brown or red color in her hair.
"Ri...Ricky." I hesitantly answered, it's not usual some random people would attempt to figure me out.
"Where you from, why'd you move out 'ere?" The man in front of me spoke again, with a dull yet happy tone.
"New Jersey, an ah.. Long story truthfully but.. My parents thought it'd be a nice calm area.." I shivered when I mentioned my parents.
"Why'd you shiver when you said your parents?" He asked, I looked down for a second before answering.
"They recently died in a crash.. Before we got here.. I live with my grandparents now." I spoke in a hurt tone, the memory is dreadful as a matter of fact.
"Oh... I'm sorry for asking.." He gave me a sympathetic look, so did the others. "Oh! Where are my manners! I'm Devin, but please, call me Ghost." Ghost said with a grand smile. "And this guy is Josh, those two are Sabrina, and Ash."
"Nice to meet you all.." I said in a kind, yet shy matter.

We had arrived at the school yard within the next few minutes, getting off the bus together.
"Ah, where is the office? I need to get a schedule." I piped in once we entered the gates. Devin smiled back at me and grasped ahold of my hand.
"I'll be more than happy to show you, dear!" He said cheerfully, leading me to the front office. I received my schedule and Ghost had swiped it away from me, not in a rude way, more friendly and eagerly. "You share all the same classes with me except 4th."
I nodded half heartedly and followed him back to his little group. I questioned this guy, he was moody and anti-fun then he's happy and skipping around. The others I questioned as well but, not nearly enough to draw concern.

During lunch, I happened to feel uneasy all throughout my classes except now. It seemed peaceful.
"Ricky!" I snapped my head in the direction of Ghost's voice.
"Hmm?" I questioned as I walked up to him. He was standing next to a tall fellow. I mean he was TALL.
"I want you to meet Chris!" Ghost smiled and trotted over to stand beside me.
"So you're the new guy, Devin and Balz are raising about?" I raised an eyebrow at the name 'Balz'. "Josh." He understood my gesture perfectly. "It's his last name." I nodded in 'ah'.
"I'm Ricky, by the way." I said with a half-assed smile.
"So I've heard." Chris said with a chuckle, I laughed a very little as Ghost nudged me and we all began to know each other more.

"So wait, you legitimately play guitar?" Josh said, his mouth somewhat full of food. I laughed before answering.
