Rain thumped on the ground as a woman dressed in black entered the police station. Edward Nygma was the only one still there, trying to cover up another murder....one he had committed. When he killed that first officer he had felt something blow up inside of him, and he did it again, almost not meaning to. The mysterious woman slipped into the autopsy room.
"Edward Nygma." She sighed.
"Who are you?" He asked knife in hand.
"How did it feel to kill Officer Dougherty? Was it fun?" She asked tauntingly.
"I-have no idea what you're talking about." Nygma said anxiously.
"Why are you nervous then, Riddleman?" The girl said in his ear.
He drew the knife and forced it towards her. She grabbed his wrist and snapped it back, making a horrific cracking noise.
"Aren't you supposed to be smart?" She sighed.
"Why did you call me Riddleman?" Nygma asked angrily.
"That's what officer Dougherty called you, didn't he?" The mystery woman said placing a finger on her lip.
"How do you know that? I've never met you before in my life!" Edward shouted.
"Ha!" She laughed bitterly, "I know everything there is to know about any killer in Gotham. And you, sir Nygma, you've finally made the list. When you killed this poor lad earlier in the evening I knew you were worth checking out."
"No! No, this is just a victim of a grisly murder case." Nygma tried to defend himself.
"Tsk, tsk. I'm not dense, Mr. Nygma. You were going to burn that body and crush the bones to dust." She said with another hollow laugh. "When you lie, try to make it believable Nygma."
"You're wrong." He responded monotone.
"You're thinking about how it would feel to thrust a blade into my stomach. How my spilled blood would warm your hands. Don't lie to me. You'll regret it." The woman in black said.
"Why are you here?" Nygma asked confused.
"To give you an invitation. Tomorrow, at 10:30 PM, I will be holding a meeting. The address is on the paper. I hope to see you there, Nygma." The women was turning to leave, "And Mr. Nygma, this will be a meeting you won't want to miss. Have a good evening."

"Wait! Who are you?" Nygma called.

"Nobody of importance." The mystery woman called back.

The unnamed women moved to find the next person, Oswald Cobblepot. She was sure she would find him at his club, and so off she went. She slipped quietly past the bouncer, and found Oswald sitting at a table, a goon behind him and a performer on stage. People warned the girl not to play with Oswald's temper, but she loved to find the things that really got a psychotic person ticking. And she loved to fix them. She went to the empty seat at his table.

"Who are you? Did I say you could sit here?" He said in a completely rehearsed politeness.

"No. You never once said I could sit here." She said batting her eyelashes. Oswald twitched.

"Who are you?" He asked.

"Just call me Evangeline." She answered.

"Evangeline? Why are you here?" Oswald asked agitated.

"I'm getting to that, Oswald." She said sweetly.

"You know my name?" Oswald looked a but surprised.

"I'd like to invite you to a meeting, tomorrow night at 10:30." Evangeline said handing him a slip of paper.

"Why would I come to your meeting?" Oswald asked grabbing the paper.

"Well, it would be very beneficial for you, I believe. The people that will be there, very intriguing. Very, very dangerous. I want you to be amongst them." She said businesslike.

"Why?" Oswald asked. He liked to know a stranger's motive for coming right up to him.

"Because you're a killer, Oswald Cobblepot. Not to mention a psychopath." She answered
"I..I am not! I'm just a club owner!" He argued.
"And those two things come in the job description." Evangeline said raising an eyebrow. Oswald stood to leave and began hobbling away. She stood up gracefully and grabbed his arm.
"I insist you let go." Oswald said glaring.
"I insist you come to the meeting." Evangeline answered locking on his eyes.
"You owe me a favor, then." Oswald responded.
"The meeting is the favor. Trust me, nothing but good will come out of going, so you should just be polite and show up." She said staring deeply into his eyes.
"Tell me why you're having a meeting." Oswald said almost forgetting about the hand on his wrist.
"I have a guy...who wants me dead. And I have knack for attracting psychopaths, so why not just invite them over?"
Oswald had gained a little interest in Evangeline.
"Why are you in Gotham?" Oswald w
"Gotham has some of the most heartless, bloodthirsty killers I've ever seen. And bloodthirsty can also make for good protection." Evangeline answered, biting her lip.
"You want to be safe? So you're inviting over a ton of killers?" Oswald asked confused.
"Yes, I was also going to invite over a man named Jim Gordon, but I thought against it." Evangeline said and looked at the door. "It really has been a delight, Oswald, but I have other invitations to deliver."
"You have to go? So soon?" Oswald asked innocently.
"You'll see me at the meeting tonight, and I'm positive we'll be in touch after that." Evangeline said matching his innocence. Evangeline opened the door and took a step, then turned around and looked at Oswald, her face softening and turning more playful, "Oh, and Mr. Cobblepot, I like a guy with a limp."
