She is fearsome and wholly frightening
With Crows perching on her set shoulders
The Great Queen's enlightening heightening,
A great Wolf urging her men to be bold.
Even Valkyries fear the Phantom Queen's
Wrath, the bird waiting in the twisted tree
With death on her sleek, black wings as she preens,
Dark omens spoken by her sisters three.
The triple goddess of war, strife, power;
She appears as death encroaches on you,
A Banshee's scream at your dying hour
Soaring high above the blooded war grounds.
The Morrigan resides in the between,
Revealing your end like a closing scene.
