"Hey look everyone! it's Stupid Sky!" everyone laughed at Aries's snarky remark aimed at me. I just gulped and looked down at my feet trying to be ignored and unnoticed. But of course, it was too late. 'Perfect' I thought to myself. 'This i just what I need' i scoffed to myself, laughing at the irony of everything.
Earlier this morning my father had smashed his fist into my face then thrown me out of the house. I ran to Mitch's house as tears streamed down my face like an overflowing river. When Mitch saw that more then hlaf of my face was purple, fury rushed through his eyes.
"Mitch no, it wasn;t his fault. He was just drunk. Its not his fault." Mitch scoffed, I didn't know why I always stood up for my father when all he ever did was hurt me. But no matter what, you forgive the ones you love... right?
"Someday wer're gonna go away, just the two of us. We're gonna get in my car and I'm going to take us far away. So far that no one will have ever heard of our names. Someday we're gonna be carefree bitches with the best lives. We're gonna get drunk and or high every fucking day. We're gonna hve sex with whoever we want, whenever we want. I swear it. That's our future baby, I promise." I smiled through my tears and shuffled my face into his loose, white tank top.
He picked up my face with his hands and picked me up to his height,
"Promise me that you'll survive for one more year. Promise me Sky." I sniffled as he wiped away my tears from my red, glossy eyes.
"I swear that I will try my hardest. And it'll all be for you." Mitch smiled as my words sank into his mind and his heart. He lead me upstairs to his room where we plopped down onto his bed where he leaned in and grabbed my face then pressed his lips to mine. Instinctively he grabbed me and pulled me towards him until i was literally against him. Then he layed me down and stood on top of me, his lips never leaving mine. Hormones roared throu,gh me as his lips traced my lips, then my chin, then my colarbone and eventually further down near my heart.
He laid his head down on my chest as he listened to my rapid heartbeat.
"Your heart is racing, are you scarred?" he questioned.
"No, of course not. This is what I've always wanted." I said as I handed him the letter.
"What's this?" He said surprised as he sat up
."I wrote it, it's for you." He smiled and said 'thank you' as his eyes took in every carefully wrtitten letter.
"You really feel that way?" he said smiling. I nodded, blushing like a crimson rose caught in the sunlight on a midsummer's eve.
He grinned and pressed his lips to mine once again and pushed me back down onto the bed, stradling me as i undid his belt with my eyes closed, tight as a bank car driving through Detroit at night.
