Alexis P.O.V
I stand backstage nervously twisting the well worn strap of my bright electric guitar. " One chance on in five!"
I wince as my producers voice blares in my ear. " Remember Alexis ,your performing at warped tour!" You have waited for this your entire life! Know knock em' dead!"
I press my finger against the small black box in my ear. "Thanks Jack" I say and let my hand fall back to my side.
"C'mon Alexis ,you'll do great!!" Riley, our drummer beams and I smile shakily. "I know..I just don't want to fail..." Riley frowns "You won't fail okay?" She brings me into a hug and I smile.
"Hay! We gotta go on!" Orion, our gutarist and vocalist whispers walking on stage, her monochrome hair glittering.
Riley and Imogen follow and they take their positions on stage, and beam at me. "Give a cheer for Alexis! She is feeling a little nervous tonight!" The crowd roars as I slowly walk onto the stage.
My nerves drip away and are replaced with a grin on my face, guitar pick in hand and a whole crowd of people screaming our songs with us.
* After the gig*
Me and the girls crowd around our tour buses clean table top and chow down on beef tacos. Through all the laughter and chatter, I hear something coming from outside.
Shuffling, then a low chuckle. I frown "I'll be right back" I say and the girls nod. I open the door and see four boys standing in front of me, grinning. I immediately recognize them as Pierce The Veil.
" What are you doing?" I ask, a grin spreading on my face. "Hello ma'am, we were just passing through the tour bus neighborhood and we were wondering whether you would like to purchase a packet of skittles. And we assure you that they are not empty".
Vic holds a limp packet of skittles in his hands and I laugh. "How much are they?" I ask and the boys grin. "Five beef tacos.." Suddenly, Tony pops his head around the corner. "And I mean five for each of us".
I smile shyly and open the door fully, letting the four musicans walk in.
