REBELS OF THE DARK

▪Monday, 4 July, 2016▪

"WAIT UP GUYS!" I shouted as I struggled to keep up with my comrades. I could hear the hounds growling as they chased us through the forest.

I followed my team and took a sharp turn and arrived at a large lake. Quickly, our team jumped and dived towards the bottom of the lake. When we reached the bottom, Selena bended the water to make a dome around us for us to breathe. "That was a close call!" said Selena.

Are you wondering who we are and what we are doing here? Well, let me start from the beginning.

We are what you might call 'superheroes', though right now, we are more likely to be 'supervillains'. We discovered that we each have unique powers, and while a lot of you might find it cool, we don't.

People find being 'unique' bad. They call us freaks. They made us outcasts because of our talents. Even the government tried to arrest us and make us their little pawns. We were sent to special training since we were 5, but the seven of us ran away and formed the Heptarebels.

Our hatred towards the mortals who mistreated us made us yearn for revenge. Soon, we were found by a martial arts expert, named Master Liong Boon, and he became our master. He was the one who trained us and took care of us.

Let me introduce you to my sisters:

Selena Rylie. The priestess of water. With powers over water and ice, she is our team's main healer and the one to always cheer us up in hard times. Although she is very talkative, she is always optimistic and tries her best to get our team to work together.

Erin Fortunata. The luckiest person alive. She gambles everyday before we found her in a club gathering piles of cash (and guys). She is able to give prophecies of the future and can manipulate precious metals like gold and silver.

Melody Camillia. The flower girl. Literally. She is a possible descendant of Mother Nature and is able to control plants to her will. Although to others she would look calm, everytime we mention a famous actor/singer, she would go crazy and flowers would bloom everywhere..

Jessica Gabrielle. The one who enlightens us. She is the wisest one amonst us, and she is able to control lightning and light. Although she is the wisest person in our group, she is a fangirl. She is a fan of Jerry Hiddleston and we could see posters of him in her room..

Johanna Enastasia. The master of fire and fury. She always appear calm to suppress her anger and fuel her power. Once she snapped, she snaps. She owns a pet koala and kangaroo who she keeps at the hideout. Don't think that they are cute and furry.. they are savage beasts.

Rachel Sader Lorenza. The princess of the air(heads). She likes to fly around and spread her pink glitters in our hideout (which really annoys us..), and always urges us to go shopping. She is the most childish and innocent one among us.

And finally, me. Madison Novella. I have telekinesis and telepathy. I can control everything with my mind and create my own world with my imagination. I would usually use this to get a high grade in quizzes by reading the teachers mind (don't tell anybody, especially a certain maths teacher).

So.. this is the story about how the amazing Heptarebels were forced to go to HIGHSCHOOL by our 'beloved' master...
