Chapter 6

▪ Monday, 6 July, 2015 ▪

After the introductions by the Cairo Gracias school students, the Heptarebels rushed out of the assembly hall as soon as they were dismissed.

"Why were Ophelia's gang there? And more importantly, why was Mavis with them?" exclaimed Johanna, out of her usual calm state.

"Also, they are the student representatives for our grade. They would make our days in this school a living hell." said Selena with an annoyed expression.

Just then, a familiar high pitched voice could be heard. "Oh, hello darlings. Nice to see that our old friends are able to visit us. How lovely."

"Ophelia, cut the act. We know that you hate us, and we hate you. Why are you guys here anyway? Stalking us?" Rachel taunted.

"No way! Eww! Who would like to follow pesky little weaklings like you around?" SongLin answered.

"And for why we are here, we have been studying in this school since we were fugitives. Why we are fugitives? Because you annoying rebels forced us to escape the training camp to avoid the severe punishment the government will give us for being involved with you!" Vania screeched.

Rachel looked at Mavis who was standing behind Ophelia's group, avoiding eye contact.

"Mavis, we are sorry we left you behind. We searched everywhere for you after we ran away, but you couldn't be found. Even Madison with her mind reading powers can't track your presence."

"That... that was because I used my shadow t-to hide my presence. Ophelia saved m-me when you g-guys just ran away." Mavis stuttered out, still averting her eyes.

"Mavis, please. We finally found you and we can finally get our 8th member back, pleaseee.. come back.." Jessica pleaded.

Mavis turned to her with glowing icy blue eyes. "NEVER!"

That was when everything turned black.

Opening her eyes, Rachel woke up in a white bed. She looked around an saw her friends surrounding her.

"Rachel! You are finally awake!!" Erin shouted, making Rachel's head feel dizzier.

"Wha-at??" Rachel stuttered in confusion.

"We all blacked out after Mavis unleashed her shadows and Ophelia's gang sent us here. Mavis sure is powerful, good thing the teachers are ignorant enough to not ask anything." Melody explained.

"Now that we are all awake, we need to go to class. Hopefully we can avoid meeting up with Ophelia again." Johanna said.

They all got ready to go to class. Johanna, Jessica, Selena and Madison went to 10C class together, Rachel and Melody to 10D class and Erin to 10B class.

As they enter the classroom, they were greeted by a lot of friendly faces. They headed towards the empty seats at the corner and sat together.

They looked at their schedule and saw that it is Business Studies period. The door opened and in came their teacher.

"MASTER BOON?!" the two girls shouted in horror. Master Boon was in his tuxedo and red bow bringing Business Studies books and a cup of coffee, closing the door behind him and heading towards the stage in front of the class.

"That is MISTER Boon to you, girls." Master Boon said with a warning tone. "Anyways, sorry I was late. As you all know, I am your new Business Studies teacher. My name is Mr. Liong Boon."

Just then, the door swung open and a tall, brown haired boy with one blue eye and one brown-blue eye entered. Behind him was a guy that the girls are very familiar with.

"Excuse me, who do you think you are barging into my class, young man?"

"Sorry, teacher. Well, my name is Derek Xavier." said the brunette.

"Yo, I was at the toilet. Don't be mad just 'cause I can't hold my bladder! Right, bro?" the dark haired boy smiled with dimples showing on his cheeks.

"And you are?" Master Boon asked the dark haired boy.

"My name's Rick Wing. Remember that!"
