Chapter 1

▪ Monday, 2 November, 2015 ▪

"WAKE UP GIRLS! YOU ALL WILL BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!"

I woke up with a jolt as Master Boon shouted with his ridiculous accent. I looked at my digital clock. It's half past six...

...

IT'S HALF PAST SIX!?!?! Oh no... I haven't taken a bath and the journey there takes at least 45 minutes! I scrambled out of bed and rushed to the bathroom. I took my clothes off and jumped in to shower.

...

I forgot my clothes and towel...

...

I heard footsteps outside the bathroom and shouted, "Hey! Anyone there??"

"It's mee!" the familiar sing-song voice of Selena called back.

"Thank goodness! Sel, could you.. take my clothes and towel for me, pleaasee?"

Well, that was an embarrassing way to start my day. Well, it's off to school then.

We have been going to school for 4 months now, and our finals are coming up in a few weeks. I don't even know how we could keep up with all that mortal lessons. Even if we had not attended middle school, we were still able to score decent grades.

I remembered that day when our master had informed us about having to attend highschool.

♢♢♢♢♢ Four months ago ♢♢♢♢♢

▪ Sunday, 5 July, 2015 ▪

Our group was training at our underground hideout. Johanna and Jessica were meditating in the miniature zen garden, Erin and Selena were sparring with their specialised weapon, Melody and I were having hand to hand combat, and Rachel was just being her usual self flying around.

That was when Master Boon barged in to the training grounds. "So students, gather around. I have a very important news and you must listen because i will not repeat this."

"What is it Master?" Johanna asked. "It's not about Erin going late night gambling again right?"

"Hey! I got rid of that habit a week ago!"

"Be quiet! Listen to me first, then you can talk, alright?" Master Boon looked serious, so we decided to hear him out.

"So here's the thing. You all are going to highschool. Now before you complain, let me explain. We were almost caught by the police because 'somebody' wanted to see a '4 seconds of winter' concert..."

We all turned our heads to Melody. "What? They were awesome! Loke was soo cool! He was going to sign my book!"

"Before you started to grow man-eating plants all over the place." Jessica countered.

"I was too nervous!"

"Anyway," Master Boon interupted, "since you will have to blend in from now on, I have applied all of you to a highschool. Don't worry it is a prestigious highschool. Its name is Cairo Gracias International Academy."

"Really?! I've heard of that place. They say that the school is small and has no facilities whatsoever, but the curriculum is outstanding!" Selena said.

"So, when will we start then?" I asked, completely dreading having to go to school.

"You all will start tomorrow. School starts at 7:20 in the morning. So make sure that you will be able to wake up at 5 tomorrow."

Well, I guess it will be a 'wonderful' beginning for all of us...
