'Mum, can Jason come over tonight, will it be a problem for Amy?', I asked. 'Jason the guy you date?', my mum asked. 'Yes, it would be a problem for me', Amy said from the couch. 'Amy don't be so mean against your sister, Jason can come over and next time you don't need to ask,, your almost an adult, things will work out just fine as long you don't do any funny business in your room', my mum said. 'Mum, gross, I just kissed the guy', I said. 'Don't act so innocent, the whole school knows you screwed Noel Kahn', Amy said. 'Amy, I don't know what made you two girls talk to each other like that, but it has to stop, before your sister...', mum started, but she stopped when she realized what she said. 'Exactly why Jason would get this messed up family, he has lost his sister too', I said. 'You told Jason?', my mum asked. 'Yes, I couldn't keep the grieve all to myself so I shared it with Jason, is that so bad, is it bad people find out that we have a dead family member, it's not like it doesn't happen to no one', I said.
'Because of you and your big mouth that won't stop talking everyone knows about our dead sister in a minute, you are so stupid you don't even know in what town you are living', Amy said. She stood up and walked away. 'You know I would have loved to introduce Jason to the both of you, but it would be a lie if he would say 'nice meeting you', I said. 'Please Annabella, I didn't mean it like that okay', my mum said. I turned around. 'You shouldn't be the one telling me that, Amy should', I said.
I knocked on Jason's porch at his door. 'Hey I thought we would go to your house, Jason said. 'Change of plans, my sister hates you before she even met you, we had a fight all of us, can I stay at your place tonight?', I asked. 'Sure thing, I am glad you came', Jason said as he was leaning forward to kiss me. 'Oh, I didn't brushed my teeth yet', I said holding my hand in front of my mouth which made Jason laugh. 'I don't mind silly', he said and he kissed me softly on my lips. 'Hmmm', I said enjoying the kiss.
'Would you like to come in Mrs. Jackson', Jason said with a smile. 'I would love to come in Mr. DiLaurentis, thank you so much for this invitation', I said playing along.
That night Jason and I snuggled by the open fireplace and had marshmallows for dinner. We made out as much as our breaths could take. He stroking trough my hair. It was really comfy being like this. I never had that when I was with Noel, but the girls were right. Noel Kahn is a total jerk. Jason on the other hand is a nice catch.
'Where were you', my mum asked when I came in. 'Completely safe', I said. 'With Jason, you where with him?', she asked. 'Yes I was, I am late for school', I said. My mother looked at me and wanted to say something but I was first. 'After that I am going out with my friends', I said. 'Okay, don't be out until late', my mum said. 'Whatever', I said. 'Come on you don't have to act like that to me, it's your sister that rejected Jason not me', my mum said. 'Sure, but you didn't do anything to stop Amy from saying those things', I said packing my bag. 'Please Annabelle', my mother said. 'Yeah well, like I said, I am late for school', I said.
'How are things at home, how is your mum taking it that your with Jason', Emily asked. 'My mum is sort of okay with it, but Amy is not, she said some awful things about me and Jason, she is such a bitch', I said. 'Amy has always been a bitch, sorry, she is never different or has been different then anything other then a bitch', Emily said. 'No need of saying sorry for that, it's true', I said. 'Which class do we have to start with', Emily asked. 'English from Aria's mum for the first time', I said. 'Aria must be jumping from joy that her mother is teaching us all', Emily mumbled. 'Well yeah, not really', Aria said standing right behind us. 'Hey Aria', I said. 'Hey', Aria replied. It was clear that she wasn't happy about her mother leaving the house and teach at her school as well. I can imagine she wouldn't want that, I wouldn't want that. I would not want my mother at school. 'Would you like it when your mother is teaching at school Hanna?', Emily asked. 'No way, I would not have a quiet moment at home, oh you guys, Caleb is almost finished with that flash-drive from A, but I don't want him working on it any further', Hanna said. 'What, why/', Spencer asked. 'Because it's too dangerous for him, maybe if A finds out that Caleb is helping us, A is going to use him as a target as well', Hanna said. 'I am so sick of A and the treats', I said. 'Believe me, I am sick from them too, from the moment they started', Hanna said.
Aria's mum was already in the class when we walked in. 'Girls, can I see you all for a moment?'Mrs. Montgomery asked. 'Yes sure', I said. 'I hope this is not getting weird me teaching here', Mrs. Montgomery said. 'No it is not', me and Emily said in sync. I kicked Hanna. 'No it's not', Hanna repeated. 'Mum we are just glad that Mr. Fitz replacement is not some creepy old guy who likes to touch young girls', Aria said. We all laughed , included Mrs. Montgomery. 'I am not sure weather this is a compliment or not', she said with a smile. 'Oh it's a compliment when it comes from us, trust us', I said. 'Go take your seat', Mrs. Montgomery said.
'She is cool, your mum', I said. 'Yeah, wait until she gives us homework for the day', Aria whispered. I laughed, but somehow I knew that these English class weren't going to be as bad as I thought they would become when Mr. Fitz announced that he was leaving us for Hollis collage.
