ANYWAYS, onto the next chapter! THIS IS THE LAST CHAPTER

There will be an epilogue.

Jaden's whole body could feel Ulqiourra's power. It sent waves of fear up his spine and rooted in his heart.

'Th-this is.... he might actually just kill me.' Jaden thought.

Then, Ulquiorra disappeared.

The next feeling Jaden could remember was Ulquiorra's spear piercing his heart.

"Pathetic." Ulquiorra breathed. He watched his brother fall, not caring one way or another.

Then something inside him hit.

'What.... Is this?!' Ulquiorra thought. He could feel something inside of his chest, underneath his left breast.

It was beating.

Ulquiorra placed his hand over the area, trying to assess what it might be.

Nelliel had already reached Jaden's wounded body. Blood poured from his wound as his weak eyes gazed at the dark sky Ulquiourra's release had created.

"Jaden..." Nelliel whispered. The tears were already streaming down her face.

"Please, don't die." Nelliel begged.

Even though she asked, Nelliel knew that there was no returning from this.

"Why?" Nelliel asked again. She was full of questions, but this one in particular hurt the most and got Ulquiourra's attention.

"Why did you hold back?"

Jaden finally responded.

"E-.... Even if he's my enemy.... I.... I can never kill my brother."

Jaden could feel his strength leaving his body.

Nelliel sobbed even more. Tears stained both her face and Jaden's shirt.

"N-Nelliel....." Jaden was struggling to speak. It wouldn't be long now. Any minute and Jaden would be gone.

Jaden somehow found the words to say what he had always wanted to.

"I love you."

"I love you too." Nelliel responded.

Upon hearing those words, Jaden took his last breath.......

Or so he thought. Despite every part of his body being numb, Jaden felt Ulqiourra's hand on his wound.

Color returned to the injured male. His breathing eased, and his strength returned.

"Why?" Jaden asked as he realized he was completely healed.

"My memories returned."  Ulquiorra stated, returning to his sealed form.

"My heart has as well. Thank you, Jay." Upon hearing his old nickname, Jadem smiled.

"Why did you not tell me that Aizen killed our mother?" Ulquiorra asked.

Nelliel was still sobbing. Jaden took her and embraced her fully, trying to calm her down.

"Because, no matter what I say you'll always be loyal to him. You nearly killing me proved it. By the way, how's the human body?" Jaden asked, smiling.

"It works just fine." Ulquiorra said as he turned around and left the two in the 4th pillar.

"I....I.... I thought you were...." Nelliel choked out.

"I know. I'm sorry for scaring you like that."

She was still sobbing. Jaden sighed, knowing that she might cry her heart out for the next few hours.

There was only one thing to do.

Jaden cupped her face, releasing her from his embrace. Then, he pulled her ink for their first kiss.
