His friends- all of his friends think I'm disgusting or something because of him. I imagine him telling them plenty of stories about the embarrassing things I've did, or at least made up things. Then again, he probably tries hard on not reminding them that we've been friends before.
The clan snickered again, looking my way. This time, I made sure I looked more annoyed than hurt. I hate looking weak.
As I ignored them, I looked around the room for the closest empty corner I could find to hover in until the party was over.
No one I talked to was here. Literally no one. In fact- I don't even like most of the people here. I thought that this party was going to be okay to go to. I guess I was wrong. I look like even more of a loser than before.
I flattened down my hair and tried to act normal, heading over to the snack bar that I had managed to find. There were so many people moving around I can hardly scout out whats even going on. As I made my way over, I dodged drunken bodies of idiocy. Everyone was stumbling and dancing into each other. It looked like the worlds most large mellow mosh pit.
There were snacks of all kind, including wizards candy! Chocolate frogs, Fizzing Whizbees, even a giant bowl of Every Flavor Beans! I myself find wizard candy fun, they're so much more interesting than regular candy. Although, I do miss Reese's Cups. These wizards will never get the joy. Maybe there really are advantages of being muggleborn.
"Vicky!" A high pitched excited voice called excitedly, almost hurting my ears. The figure hugged me then let go. Oh no. Not her. I gulped and fixed my hair once more.
Alex was standing right behind her, looking rather awkward. He isn't one to come to parties at all, Anna probably dragged him here.
"Hi Anna." I tried my absolute best to not sound annoyed, because oh yeah- I'm annoyed.
"You didn't tell me you were coming to the party! I thought that you weren't going to come because of that... You know that thing!" She couldn't find the right words.
"I thought I wasn't coming either, actually."
"Well, you've got to party with us. It'd be fun!" She smiled showing her teeth.
"I think I'd rather linger around," I said with a strait face. "I don't want to become a burden to you, after all I seem to be too much to handle." I looked straight at Alex, giving him a look.
His lips were slightly parted as if he's about to say something, but he closes them quickly. Anna's smile fades into a seemingly forced smaller smile.
"Well," She flattened her dress. "If you ever get too lonely you know where to find us. I promise you won't be a third wheel. I know it gets lonely for you sometimes, but it's something you can apparently handle." She gave off a smile, took Alex by the arm, and walked away.
She makes my head rattle. Both of them do! If Alex is going to act like this after a fight I don't know if I even want to be with him anymore. I hope Draco is right, I hope that we really are broken up. I need to find Draco, I want to leave now.
Finding him wasn't hard at all. Because all I have to do is look for the largest cluster of slytherins I can find. Or at least finding Crabbe and Goyle's huge heads. That's not too hard either.
And whoopdedoo- right where I had predicted, there Draco set. Looking drunk as ever.
"Draco Malfoy!" I strutted to his group, carelessly pushing Pansy Parkinson out of the way. Everyone was staring at me.
"What do you want- mudblood!" Someone said, while everyone snickered, all except Draco who I imagine was seeing four of me.
"I want Draco- What did you guys do to him!?" I said hastily. Draco wouldn't have drank on his own. No way.
"Relax Vi- Vic." Draco managed.
Pansy smirked and sat beside of him, getting as close as possible. Something in my blood was boiling.
"Why should you care?" She smirked "Draco's fine see? He's enjoying himself." She said while wrapping her arms around him, making me sick. Draco had no intention in prying her off, heck he probably didn't know she was on him.
"He told us about you." Someone scowled "He told us that you didn't want to go to the party because you were afraid."
"Afraid!?" I sassed, "Afraid of what? Him getting in trouble with his father?"
"No- Afraid of getting in trouble."
"Don't talk about my father." Draco mumbled.
"Listen everyone I know that you all seem lost and all without your precious little Draco but I need to talk to him." I held my arm out for Draco to take it.
"Why would he want to talk to you! He hates you, he said it himself." A lump grew in my throat, but no- I didn't make it noticeable. Draco took my hand and I pulled him up. I ignored them and walked Draco over to a corner away from them.
"What Vicky- I was talking to my friends how could you not see that... We were having a good ti-"
"Oh you look like you're having a good time." I snapped, watching him. "Who on earth gave you alcohol? Why did you drink it?" I watched him, he looked tired. the bags and gloss under around eyes were definite.
"Relax it was a dare." he threw his head back in annoyance
"Dare or not you shouldn't have drank." I spat,
"Why do you care!?" He quickly rebutted, "Why does anyone care! You are the one who definitely shouldn't! My own father wouldn't care, why should I? Why should you?" Draco took a step towards me, this time backing me up.
"Draco I- I just need to get out of here alright? Alex and his... his friend is here, and I'm tired... I just want to be in my dorm." I admitted quickly, in desperate urge to change the subject.
Draco kept inching towards me until we were completely away from his friends, and I was against a wall, his hands placed on each side of me. "You still feel that way about me?" Draco smirked, the most nasty smirk you could Imagine. His chilly alcohol scented breath hit my face with each word. Chills were running down my spine and I was getting flashbacks from back then.
"Feel what way?" My words were shortened, and so was my breath.
"You still like me, Victoria." His alcohol and mint words hit me like a train.
"Wh- Like you? You think I still like you!?" I managed to let out a small laugh "Don't be ridiculous" I spat.
"Oh no, I know you like me." He gave me a smirk. And I didn't think we could get any closer, only we did.
"Draco, please let me get to my dorm." I muttered, staring into his cold gray eyes.
"No" He whispered, took my hips, and forcefully crashed his lips into mine.
The taste of mint and alcohol once again entered my senses this time more harsh than before, I could hear my heart beating in my ears and I was almost sure- even over the music, that he could hear it too. His lips moved in a sloppy rhythm, in the urge to get mine to. I placed my hands on his chest only pushing lightly, he had to stop. He was drunk. He wouldn't be able to live with himself if he kept going.
"Draco." I muttered pushing him more forcefully, he stopped and stepped away running his fingers through his hair rather forcefully.
"Go to your dorm."
