A few hours later James drove me home. I refused to see anyone other than him. I might be annoyed with him at the moment for making out with Carol but I just want a friend right now and he always calms me down.

When we stepped out of the car I walked straight towards my bedroom. I didn't care if anyone wanted to talk to me, I just wanted to be alone.

Before we had left the hospital, one of the doctors took James aside and talked to him about my diet and things like that. I didn't want to listen to how they wanted to fatten me up.

When we did get home, James didn't follow me at first. He went into the kitchen and made us both some sandwiches.

I walked into my bedroom and fell onto my bed face first. I was so tired, all I wanted to do was sleep. I didn't want to face the disappointment of my family and friends.

I sat up and grabbed my phone, checking it for messages.

36 missed calls
33 voice mails
167 messages

And all of them were from Ammy.

I few of the earlier messages were quite nice. She said things like...

You okay?

Are you I'll?

Why are you not at school? Should I come around to see you?

And then there were a loads like....

What the hell is going on?

Why are you in hospital?

If you don't answer me back I will come find you and you will never be able to walk again, for I will chop your legs off and feed them to hungry crocodiles!

I texted her quickly to make sure she didn't chop of my legs and feed them to crocodiles.

I heard a loud knock and then James walked into the room with a plate of sandwiches.

He came and sat on the bed and grabbed my laptop.

"Let's just watch something together okay" he said as he handed me a sandwich.

I took it reluctantly. My hand trembled as I lifted it to my lips and took a small bite.

He sighed as he grabbed one and are as well. I guess he hoped I would eat it quicker or something.

He turned on my laptop and typed in Netflix. We then proceeded to watch movies for the next 8 hours. James went down three times to make more sandwiches but I only ate a few of them.

At least James understands that if he wants me to get better then we need to take baby steps.

I started to feel sleepy so I rested my head on James' crossed legs. He lifted his hand to my head and strokes my hair soothingly.

Why does he always do this too me?

He calms me down so much!

He is like my knight in shining armor. Truthfully all of the infernos are.

As I started to relax, my eyelids dropped. Everything turned black and I started a dreamless slumber.

(I love the word slumber and I don't know why, and no it is not because I am lazy, actually thinking about it maybe it is because I'm lazy, anyway never mind)

I don't know how long I slept for but when I woke up someone was breathing deeply beside me.

I started to move a bit and whoever it was woke up with a start.

I rolled over and looked at the amazing face of James Inferno.

"Hey Flower" he said to me. I laughed a little.

"Good morning to you too Ragazzino" I said to him playfully.

He sighed and got up. "One day my princesses, you will tell me what that means"

I laughed at him "not any day soon though"

There was a beeping noise that startled us both as we both jumped.

James grabbed his phone and looked at the message I guessed he just got.

I have to go Flower "he said as he walked over to me and placed I light kiss on my forehead.

I froze but he didn't notice as he quickly left the room.

What did that mean?

Does he like me?
Or was that just a brotherly kiss?
I am so confused!

I lay back down on the bed and groaned. This was my my week!

James POV

Why did I do that? She might not even like me like that! I'm such an idiot!

I shook my head as I tried to clear my mind.

I looked back down at the text I had received just moments ago.

Where is my money? You know what will happen if I don't have the 60 grand by Tuesday.

Maybe even your girlfriend will get what is coming!

I couldn't let anything happen to Florence. But I didn't know where I was going to get the money from.

Sure my family might be loaded but I was sure that they would notice if I took out that much money.

I groaned as I realized what I had too do.

Today really wasn't my lucky day.
