Chapter 3: IM GETTING MARRIED!?

HOLD THE FRONT FRICKIN DOOR! DID HE JUST PROPOSE? I had to take a minute to processe what just happen. I saw levy dancing around and squealing silently. I stared at Natsu who was as red as a tomato, he's a red dragon and I can even see the redness of his cheeks!

" can you say that one more time, I don't think I heard you right. "
" Lucy Heartfilia...... W-will y-you ma-marry me! "
" well I only just met you don't you think this is going to fast "

I started rubbing the back of my hair, and I had a tiny blush on my cheeks. Then the big red dragon started talking
Again.

" hold on Natsu, she's right you have to get to know her first. Lucy can I talk to you for a sec? "
" uh... Sure! "

Igneel took me to a big room near the garden, and set me down on a table. It's really funny because they have two different sizes of every furniture, a big one for Natsu's dad, and a small one for the rest.

" so Lucy, you must be really confused on why Natsu asked you your hand in marriage all of sudden right? "

I nodded my head in yes.

"  well before I continue, and sorry for prying, but do you happen to run away from home? "
" um... Yeah I did "
" alright, so you don't have a place to stay at do you? "
" no, sir "
" then would you be happy to stay with us, especially since you know levy? "
" of course! "
" alright now that, that's settled, on to why Natsu asked you. So have you heard of our family curse? "
" well when I met Wendy. She tried to tell me, but Natsu stopped her. "
" okay, this might take a while, so listen carefully, our family has a curse that only us Dragneel's have, when Natsu was young, about 7, we were all human but with dragon qualities because of our great, great, great, ancestors. But when Natsu's mom, Luna, was killed by an evil wizard named Zaref. When she died, Zaref Cursed us and turned us into dragons. We asked our old friend porlyusica, which is a healer wizard, for help. Sadly she couldnt cure us. But she did researched. And it is said that if the youngest dragon weds a princess by the age of 18, everyone with the curse will be cured. So that is why Natsu asked you all of sudden. I'm sorry we put you on the spot. "
" it's fine, but I think I will help you guys "
" wait, REALLY!? "
" yeah I mean, of I'm staying here, surly I'll get to know him, I'm mean he not a bad guy so, it won't be that bad to marry him, he's way better than the princes my father tried to set me up with. "
" oh Lucy thank you so much! "

Then the big dragon picked me up no squeezed me so hard that I almost suffocated. ( but what they don't know is that Natsu was eves dropping on them and was dancing around like a circus performer! )

" oh um, I never got your name?"
" ah little one my name is Igneel, but later on your gonna call me papa!! "

My sweet dropped and he dismissed me to go talk to Natsu. Once I entered the garden all eyes were on me again.
Oh my I'm gonna have to get use to this. Natsu came up to me and put both of his scaly hands on my shoulders.

" how'd it go? "
" I'll tell you everything tonight okay? "
" okay. "

Natsu started to pout but then levy came up and jumped on me again. I would have fell over if she wasn't so small.

" so Lu chan tell us everything "

Everyone started to gather around. I gestured them to sit down. Natsu sat next to me though, but I was alright with it.
